Judge in Brady arbitration: "Lack of proof that anything was deflated ... 'A conspicuous absence'"
Time after time, Berman issued observations from the bench that made the NFL attorneys’ shoulders curl. He called the league’s lack of proof that anything was deflated in the AFC championship game “a conspicuous absence.”https://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/redskins/deflategate-judge-doesnt-seem-likely-to-rubber-stamp-roger-goodells-decisions/2015/08/21/034f8a26-4747-11e5-846d-02792f854297_story.html
Perhaps most embarrassingly, he publicly busted Goodell for his irrational twisting of highly equivocal evidence into the assertion that Brady masterminded an illegal “scheme” that was on par with steroids. “A quantum leap,” Berman scoffed.
Fuck the patriots.
Anyhow this shit is pointless since they are going to win their division regardless

They still cheated so fuck, no offense, this response. Bottom line: Cheatriots cheated twice in the same year bending the rules to uncharted levels. An asterisk goes behind two of their Super Bowl victories.
Even as a patriots hater I would never think ball deflation required an asterisk next to their superbowl title. Goodell fumbled this shit big time. Total reactionary.
I'm really happy at the news personally but Patriots fans being annoying is at an all time high level

I agree with this. I'm not a Patriots fan nor am I a Brady fan. I thought this was a nontroversy from the get go though. Played up by the NFL due to a 24/7 media coverage that Goodell reacted to. His report was janky AND he has a CBA he was trying to basically ignore.

Eli the superior Manning

It's funny because it's true
By db Go To PostKraft can buy his way out of anything.
An odd comments since Kraft didn't buy his way out of shit. He still paid the heaviest fine ever levied by the NFL and lost draft picks. Kraft isn't protected by the CBA though. So his fine stands while Brady's is overturned.
So, what's the legal basis on the Patriots losing their picks and paying those absurd fines still being upheld? If there is no evidence to suggest that Brady committed the act he was accused of, then doesn't the NFL owe the Patriots their picks and money?

Was the courts ruling based on the CBA or the shaky evidence?
It reads to me that the judge invalidated it based on all of the above: lack of evidence and lack of CBA supporting legalities.
