Pretty sure Leonard's TS% is 60+, both in the regular season and in the playoffs.
Also, his TS% against the Heat for the 5 games were: 77, 46, 90, 68, 87

Pop finally revealed what he told Kawaii after Game 2.
The Spurs have been loathe to disclose what was said to Leonard after Game 2. He was seen huddling with coach Gregg Popovich and team leaders Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili.
"Well, you know a lot of that is family business," Popovich said.
But now that it was over, now that the Spurs had won and there would be an entire summer to bask in that glow, Popovich decided to pull back the curtain just a bit.
"I just talked to him about not being in that deferment or that defer sort of stage. The hell with Tony, the hell with Timmy, the hell with Manu, you play the game. You are the man."
Congrats Spurs-age.
Heat wore down from all seasons and then the Pop realized in game 3 "uh, maybe we should run them" and they did and that was the end of the Miami Heat.
Wade was ass all series (when he scored he played shit D). The role players were just as bad other than Ray Allen.
Spurs passing was beautiful. Kawhi is amazing. Timmy is Timmy.
Spoelstra panicked all series long too. Battier at the worst time, lmao. Heat had no real moves to make but he kept trying them. The Heat also played very hard in 2 quarters (game 3 3rd, last night 1st) and they were gassed as a result.
Spurs deserved it. Were a very great team and honestly, I'll continue to argue Miami doesn't come out of the West this year. Switch Spurs and Miami and Miami goes down in round 2 to somebody. Miami was a good team in a shit conference. Nothing more.
SAS-OKC was the real NBA Finals for 4 games when Ibaka played.
Also, lol @ all the losses MVP took. 72-10 Heat! Bwahahaha.

Slow down there Mamba.

Okay, but I would argue that the only teams that had a shot at them were the Clippers and OKC. Clippers would have matched up better than OKC, and OKC closed the gap but still play fuckball West and that's not something Miami really has a hard time defending.
Maybe it's just my perspective but it seems like everybody is trying to argue that Miami doesn't make it past round 2. Round 2 would definitely have been more challenging but I'm kind of tired of the whole "The entire West bracket>>>Miami" arguments.
Like I got freaking Mavs fans telling me today they would have beaten us, what is happening in my world.

They'd have been a 3-6 seed out West and would have been tired in the 2nd round. Some team that might have been slightly worse (portland) would have run them off the court.
Miami was an old and tired team. They were going nowhere out West.

It's not that the West was just better, it's that Miami was tired. Someone was running them off the court. I said it all year long and it happened in the Finals. If the East had real teams, it would have happened earlier. No one in the East could score or put pressure on anyone once Indiana committed Seppuku in March.
Points well taken but will you please agree with me that the Dallas fucking Mavericks would not have beaten them or even taken them to 6
These Mavs fans are driving me crazy today

No. They wouldn't.
It's a bizzare conversation to have, because i think Miami are still favoured against most west teams. Are the series as lopsidedly easy? No. Does that add even more wear and tear? Yup. And it may have exposed wade even more. May have. You still have to be good enough to exploit that matchup. The rockets, for e.g., aren't a smart enough team, to exploit that.
Miami was a tired team but that's because of all the years they've spent with long seasons. I think the "Wear and tear" part of the playoffs is a little overrated
If anything I would rather a team face challenges so that in the later rounds they're more fine tuned and have learned from mistakes.

Miami would definitely beat the Mavs, but I do think it could go 6. Took 5 versus Brooklyn, so 6 vs Mavs isn't out of the question.
Manu did a postgame interview with the NBA TV crew and talked about how Dallas played a different style of defense that stayed on the off ball shooters in the PnR forcing Spurs to play a different way. I'm paraphrasing, but he basically said there was no way to play Beautiful Basketball against the Dallas defense. You had to beat them one on one and through the PnR action.
By contrast, the way Miami played defense, rotating and trapping the PnR and people in the corners and never being scared to leave anyone because they had faith they can close out and recover in time, there was no way NOT to play Beautiful Basketball.
So Props to Pop for figuring out exactly which way to play against which defensive scheme. And props to Carlisle for figuring out how to slow down Beautiful Basketball.

Stuff like this means infinitely more to me than any stat. the X's and O's and the strategy is what makes good teams and good players.

The playoffs against Dallas, it was completely different, we couldn't move the ball the same way because of the strategy they chose. They wanted to isolate us on the pick and roll, they were not helping on Kawhi or Patty Mills. So we had to score more or attack the rim. Because of the way they play defense, Miami, we had to pass. We were not going to score one on one, we weren't going to score off the first pass in the PnR because of the way they rotate from the corners, so we had to pass it 4 times at least.

Of course. Branduil is just delusion with his 2nd best team in the league bullshit.

Man, those 3 championships where Kobe was Shaq's roadie really inflated his rep.
You know, we knock LeBron for leaving Cleveland to Miami but not Shaq for leaving Orlando to LA.
Why is that?

Same reason as Dwight to Houston.
There are several facets to it. But a lot of it is how you handle it at the time.
You know, we knock LeBron for leaving Cleveland to Miami but not Shaq for leaving Orlando to LA.
Why is that?
Because Shaq wasn't playing in his long-suffering home town, for whom he was the only hope, the lone bright spot to distract them from the slow and excruciating dissolution of their economy, their community, and their families.
Who he then backstabbed on international television in the most narcissistic fashion possible.
Or Lebron's lack of a genie movie and shitty fighting game, one of the two.
MVP, Best Record in the League, and he decides to join someone else's team because magically his team isn't good enough?
Lebron left a contending team in his prime, to join 2 of the 3 best other players of his draft class, in their prime. Nothing like that has ever been done before.
Shaq going to LA to play with Eddie Jones and Nick Van Exel certainly isn't the same thing.
Add to that the Decision, Lebron being form Ohio, Miami being Wade County. It was a singular event in NBA History.

Slight correction: I shouldn't have said "we" in my question. As a Spurs fan, I am obligated to hate all things Lakers (I still remember doing an internship the summer that the Pistons beat them for their last 'ship with Larry Brown; I celebrated mightily), and when Shaq joined forces with Kobe and Phil Jackson, I knew that dark days were ahead, indeed. I presently relish the misery that is the Lakers.
INTO MY VEINS!!!
By extension, I hope that the Knickerbockers' experiment with Fisher burns in the lake of fire. Nothing personal against NY's team; it's all about 0.4 seconds.

Take a history lesson my man
Wilt demanded a trade from the best team in the NBA after badly choking away a 3-1 lead against the Celtics (including a game seven loss where he only made four shots). He demanded a trade to LA to play with West and Baylor. And he demanded a trade away from the town where he was born in. Wilt's team won 55 games without him whereas LeBron's won 17.
Kareem demanded a trade after missing the playoffs. He had won several MVPs.
Hakeem was accused of faking injuries by the Rockets because he hated the Rocket teams in his mid-20s so much. He hadn't made it out of the first-round in five years IIRC.
And it's not like KG being insanely loyal to a horrible franchise helped him at all.
If you want to talk about all-time greats and team-hopping/loyalty/whatever.

Wilt was past his prime and doing the classic ring chasing thing. And he joined two other guys who were also past their prime. So far past their prime that Elgin retired within a few years of the trade.
Kareem went to a team that wasn't good yet, mainly because he wanted out of Milwaukee. It was 4 years before Magic came on board.
If Hakeem, Jordan, and Barkeley used FA to go to the same team in 1991, that would have been equal to what happened in 2010. If Iverson/Kobe/Ray used free Agency to go on the same team in 2003, that would have been equal to what happened in 2010.

1967 Wilt is considered to be maybe the greatest season in basketball history. He won MVP in 1968 when he demanded the trade and his team was one win away from getting to the Finals (where they would have won). He was at his absolute peak when he demanded to be traded. Jerry West was close to his peak as well.

Wilt, Hakeem, and Kareem all had rings as the main guy before they demanded a trade. And they didn't join with 2 of the other 3 guys in their draft class in their prime. Also, Wilt was going up against 7 HoFers in Boston, you had to have a superteam back then or you had absolutely no chance. It was magic that he won the first time around.
The Barkley/Jordan/Hakeem in 1991 is the best example I can give. If Jordan does that before he wins a chip, his legacy is forever different is it not?

But his next year was by Wilt standards one of his worst...and when he won, stat wise he wasn't the same
If Lebron had any back bone in the locker room (let's be real here Mario fucking talks back to him) he would go to Houston and punk bitch ass Dwight.
do you have any idea how many hours of training I'd have to put into 2k15 in order to deal with Smokeys LeBron led Rockets
fuck
fuck
Random thought.
84 Draft class had 4 HOF'ers right? Stockton, Jordan, Hakeem, Charles? Am I missing someone?
96 Draft Class likely has 4 as well I think. Kobe, Nash, Ray are locked in. I think AI makes it too.
03 Draft Class? Do Bosh, and Melo make it alongside Lebron and Wade?

Not even the Hyperbolic Time Chamber would be enough. Bron is straight HAX in 2k so that plus Harden and Dwight who is also a god in 2k....shiiiiieeeettttt
Random thought.Bosh and Melo are 9x All Stars, Melo has a scoring title as well. They are locks for the HoF.

85 has 4 as well with Pat, Mullin, Malone, Dumars
