Wade's declined as fast as Iverson and Steve Francis. And its looked just as ugly.
usually what happens when you're a scrub that can masks your flaws with athleticism and flops.
KD salty as fuck on twitter saying Kawhi is a system player. how does a system player win mvp? let the salt flow KD. keep doing framily plan commercials
Receipts?
I don't see anything on his feed about the finals. Did he delete?

MJ and Kobe only won titles under a system too. the triangle.
Exaggeration rules the day.
KD was just responding to someone comparing Leonard to PG. He was basically saying that PG is better and would do more under Pop. No shade there.
He responded to: "@TigeeDwayne 4h
Im taking Leonard over Paul George all day and think Larry bird traded him for George hill lmao"

Pop said that he doesn't even call plays for Kawhi, he plays with in the flow of the offense. KD should be mad that his team doesn't implement a system that promotes continuity.

They play in such difference systems and environments, and have developed so differently. It's really really difficult to ever say.

But the HOF isn't about one series. It's about a body of work.
So if you could redo the 2011 draft do you take Kawaii over Kyrie? I mean one of them hasn't even scored a playoff point yet.
So if you could redo the 2011 draft do you take Kawaii over Kyrie? I mean one of them hasn't even scored a playoff point yet.Yup.
Hell, even Klay.
another staggering stat.
Chris Herring @HerringWSJ
The Spurs passed the ball 415 more times than the Heat did over the final three games of the series, according to SportVU.

Kyrie much worse.
Your self centeredness is legendary.
Not sure if it's the greatest of all time, but definitely the greatest of this generation.
You're like the Tim Duncan of egocentrism.
That's clever...

Oh, nevermind. I guess that's your new schtick and you played it out in two posts. Go back to being irrelevant now.
Protip man - if you're trying to make the case against being self centered, it might be a good idea to not take a silly joke aimed at a different poster personally (I wasn't even really trying to make fun of PI, this was more of a dumb "basketball sabermetrics are stupid" jab).Your self centeredness is legendary.

Ya, i didn't take it personally.
I actually thought your little metaphor was clever, complete with TD best of generation troll jab at the end. Then I realized you did a similar forced NBA metaphor for one of his posts on the very next page. Something which had nothing to do with you. So I realized you force NBA metaphors like Canibus forces multi's and that got old quick
I think I am more disappointed with the GoT finale than I am this game.
Again congrats Spurs. As a Heat fan, I guess winning two championships makes this stuff easier, what an amazing ride.

George will always have better shooting touch than Kwahi (yeah I realize he shooting like 70% in last 3 game, but still)Exaggeration rules the day.

Its kinda unimaginable to me George wouldn't developed and fit even better under Pop, but I guess its all hypothetical..
There are also two more finals MVP who are not in the HoF (Jo Jo White and Cedric Maxwell).how many finals MVPs aren't in the HoF?
Chauncey Billups is a HoF in your books?
Now it's true, the overwhelming majority of the finals MVPs end up in the HoF, but that's because it's generally great great players who wins it, not because winning one guarantees you a HoF induction.
Leonard has not done nearly enough in his career to earn a HoF spot, but he's young and he sure has the potential to be a really great player.
George will always have better shooting touch than Kwahi (yeah I realize he shooting like 70% in last 3 game, but still)He's not going to develop into being 6'7" though.
Its kinda unimaginable to me George wouldn't developed and fit even better under Pop, but I guess its all hypothetical..
And I think that's the point, getting someone who can guard your LeBrons and Durants of the world is really important if you want to win titles.
Haven't been around because of health issues…
Congrats Spurs. Now, all of y'all retire so we can have a chance.
Who is your team?
Indiana traded the 2014 Finals MVP for George Hill
LOL
Better coach: Pop or Phil?
Tempted to say Pop. However, I still believe Phil winning without any real big man in Chi-Town (in an era of great great big men)is the most impressive coaching feat to me..
Bulls were functional with the guys like Will Cartwright and made do with guys like Tony Kukoc. You are right that the Bulls didn't have a David Robinson or a Patrick Ewing or Hakeem the Dream. So ya, Phil was creative in Chi-town, but by no means were the Bulls small like the Heat.

Way to early to talk about HoF, but one of the things Pop was saying post game is that Kawhi's drive to be a great player is one of the most intense he's seen as a coach. It's not a surprise he was proclaiming him the future of the franchise a season or two ago. I do think his ceiling as a player is Scottie Pippenesque and if the Spurs keep their assistant coaches and system, I can imagine his jump shot getting better over the next 4-5 seasons as well. He wasn't a 3 point shooter coming into the NBA and now he's draining pull up 3's in transition in the NBA FInals. Hell, I remember when TP couldn't hit mid range jump shots.
Btw, some playoff stats on Timmy:
Paul Garcia PS @PaulGarciaPS 45m
Tim Duncan playoff records: 1st: Blocks (545), 1st: Minutes (8,902). 1st: Double Doubles (158) 3rd: Rebounds (2,732). 5th: Points: (4,988)
Remarkable career
After the Mavs series, the Spurs won all but one of their games by more than 15 points.
I said daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayum.
I said daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayum.
Is there some sort of way a team can stop a player from opting in?
Not sign them to a contract that will doom the franchise.
Whoa Lebron is leaving isn't he? That delay told me everything I need to know.
GUESS I SHOULD HAVE SAID SORRY FOR THE MULTI-POSTS AT FIRST
Had to be at work today at 4:20 AM, so I tried to catch a quick nap after the game before work and I want to catch up on some posts.
Yeah, that delay answered the question. Dude was like, "I have not even thought about it." Yeah right. You're telling me that you sat on the bench for 6min and didn't think to yourself that this was 2007 all over again? Literally 4 missed FTs away from being a sweep this time too.

Remarkable career
Cute avatar. Made me giggle.
Nothing personal, but "remarkable" just isn't strong enough an adjective. I'd go for something like "astounding." One of my co-workers just reminded me that Tim is the only player in history to win a 'ship in three different decades. I don't think we'll ever see that again.
I don't know enough about basketball to discuss Kawhai's ceiling, but George Hill is only slightly better than Danny Green. In fact, it was somewhat embarrassing for me as a Spurs fan in that I had difficulty telling them apart (just look like two light skin brothas taking spot 3's to me). In Pop we trust!
And yes, I remember when Parker could not hit a pull-up jumper. That is what kept him from becoming an elite PG. He now has that, and I wouldn't want anyone else on the team.
I haven't posted here in a minute because my login info is saved on my work PC and I wasn't at work till today.
Congrats, Spurs and their fans. You fucked us up real good and gave the big 3 the sweet taste of that humble pie. The plan to rest wade till the playoffs paid off until we played a decent team that could make his slow ass look it more often than not. Bosh played like shit again and Lebron is surrounded by aging or terrible role players again.
Not to discredit the spurs. They are who we thought they were and just ripped this team to shreds. They made it all look so damn easy, too. I guess this is what it felt like to be a OKC fan during the 2011-2012 finals.
If the big 3 ends after this series then I'll be ok with it. We had a run of 4 straight finals that most teams haven't ever had the chance to experience and 2 straight rings, one of them coming from the best finals series I've ever seen. I can only hope that wade and bosh opt out of their contracts so that we can get better pieces around Lebron and I hope that this whooping has finally taught them that you can't win with Mario Fucking Chalmers as your starting PG.

Exaggeration rules the day.Nah, you dont throw shade on a man minutes after he wins Finals MVP. You look salty as fuck, thats why he deleted those tweets.
KD was just responding to someone comparing Leonard to PG. He was basically saying that PG is better and would do more under Pop. No shade there.
He responded to: "@TigeeDwayne 4h

Not Shade. Just his opinion. Not like he's just saying "Kawhi's a system player" out of the blue. Discussing PG over Kawhi, it's fair game.
He deleted those tweets cause he's "the Servant."

Think Duncan's coming back. It's normal to look like you're done with everything when the emotions are going, but after he's had some time away from basketball, he'll want to come back and defend his title. Too competitive not to.
Man, watching World Cup all weekend then switching over to last night's game made me realize just how much better a sport to watch NBA is. The visual impact, movement, action drama, so much more because of the court and the way the shots are framed. Also, whoever was producing these finals did a really good job, too.

i disagree, it actually made the NBA finals less exciting to me.

Soccer is just more boring unless you have a huge passion for it. In basketball, someone scores like every 30 seconds and highlight plays are made 5-10 times a quarter.
"It's just the nature of the game"' - famous last words
Kawhi turning 23 at the end of the month. What a start to his career:
Add a regular season MVP trophy in 2018? A DPotY trophy as early as next season.

Derrick Rose would have come back months ago if the NBA had the magic spray.
In one of the games yesterday (France and Honduras, I think), one of the players went down, clutching his knee. The trainer comes out and works on his ankle.
