It's here! So heat fans where are you at? Yes this is scary, toughest team we have faced in the four years. They got better, we got slightly worst. They now have home court. Why is everyone so confident that the Heat got worse? Wade is healthy. Bosh is a more credible 3pt shooter. Birdman is playing better. Cole has played better in the playoffs after a post all-star game slump. I mean Battier is broken, but he looked pretty bad at many points in last year's playoffs, too.
But we have the greatest player on the planet. We have a healthy wade which if he plays at a high level is the second best player on the court. We can out run them, we can out defense them. Did I mention we have LEBRON. The greatest players find a way to win.
So I expect us to win, though I would not be surprised if we don't.
Anyway let's go heat!!!!
I think people are getting jaded by the regular season and the hype of the streak. No they didn't get MVP's perdition (lol), nor did they run off a large string of victories, but they've stomped their playoff competition more than last year, too.
Wade is largely Ginoblireliable and Bosh is finally absolutely content to pretend to be a Dirk. Their interior is weaker than ever. It's here! So heat fans where are you at? All of this is offset by LBJ playing like a God among men. I think that Miami is still title worthy and at the same level as they were last year but its more of a one man show than it ever was in the past and that definitely hasn't been one of their focuses before.
its even, thats all i know
won't end in 5 games and if someone got a sweep then they are the best team of the least 5 years.
I expect a close game tonight/struggling game

True. Both teams are going to be struggling offensively. It's either going to come down some crazy ass shot or smart plays from either Lebron or Duncan
I don't understand how the media could portray the Heat as the underdogs. They're the two time defending champs facing the same team they beat last year. Ever since LeBron came to Miami, there has been this effort to make it seem like his teammates are trash, simply so as to make LBJ look greater. You're facing a Spurs team you've already beaten, that's a year older, and you're healthier than them.

the team that hasnt chipped in 6 years despite rocking the same core players and is about to face the miami aizens with a wade thats clearly using the absolute totality of his final roid supplies to guarantee the last hurrah needed in order to secure a LeBron extension
heat in 6

And that makes no sense. The media has been pushing this script for a while now, though.I don't understand how the media could portray the Heat as the underdogs. I'm assuming that part of that is that most people believe that the Spurs snatched defeat from the jaws of victory last season and are the only of the two teams to have improved, which isn't true. Wade is playing his best playoff basketball since 2011 and Bosh now stretches the floor out, often forcing big men to go chase him out of the paint and leaving that area vulnerable.
I mean, sure, they don't have mike miller's missing shoe or broken back this year but Shard has stepped up his game and for fucks sake when you have ray allen running around like a spring chicken and hitting his shots then who gives a fuck about Miller?
i just want to see them win so that this whole "they got lucky" narrative ceases to be. It's like people got bored of the asterisk and needed something else to work with.
Heat in 4in your dreams.
underdogs my black ass
the same dreams where the fuckball chumps got bodied by Miami, so believe the hype, nigga

Two best shooting teams in the league are in the Finals, again
Great article by Kirk Goldsberry.
During the regular season 99 NBA players attempted at least 300 shots within 8 feet of the basket. Here are the top five in terms of scoring efficiency:
1. LeBron James, 74.9 percent
2. DeAndre Jordan, 68.2 percent
3. Kevin Durant, 66.6 percent
4. Chris Bosh, 66.5 percent
5. Dwyane Wade, 65.8 pecent
However, while Miami loves the corners, San Antonio thrives above the break, where the Spurs led the NBA in efficiency, converting 40 percent of their shots, far and away the best mark in the league.
Great article by Kirk Goldsberry.
Seriously, the Lebron teammates are garbage card is just mindblowing. The fact that Wade isn't as good as he used to be just has to do with what Lebron forces his teammates to do, mainly play off ball as cutters and 3 point shooters.
Bosh on any team as a first option would be in the conversation for best PF in the league and get you 25-27 and Wade would as well. The fact that Wade plays better without Lebron than he does with him isn't a knock on Wade, ditto for Bosh.

Every time the Heat in the big three era lost game one we win the series. The one time we won game one in the finals, we lost the series.
Not sweating over the first game either way tonight.

No one respond to that post.
Don't you have some excuses to make about how Dwight Howard can't possibly have slept with a junior in HS cuz "he usually pulls in hot chicks" or some such nonsense?
I'm ready. San Antonio can either redeem themselves or I'll forever hate San Antonio Spurs if they give Lebron another ring this year.

I'm so tired of people saying San Antonio is better than last year, and Miami is worst. Judging by their playoff performance, it's vice versa. I love how Dallas is all of a sudden an all-time team because they pushed the Spurs to 7, maybe the Spurs are just a tad bit overrated? I can't wait until the Heat crushes these dudes so people can shut up for two days. I'm guessing by 15 minimum tonight, and in 6 games we celebrate again.

Splitter, leonard and even cory joseph improved. Heat looked suspect except the last few games vs the pacers but then again pacers didn't even try. We will see what happens.

No, they really aren't. All these players you mention that "improved", improved against who? Who have you seen them against to say they improved? Against Miami's defense, they'll look pedestrian, and as much as it sounds like blasphemy, I'm guessing we'll see Pops thoroughly outcoached this series. Spo is no joke at making the right adjustments game to game.
You can see the improvement the whole year in general from those players. Manu looks good so far and he was a big reason for the loss last year. Game 1 is not going to matter who wins.I'm so tired of people saying San Antonio is better than last year, and Miami is worst. Judging by their playoff performance, it's vice versa. This Miami Big 3 has had the most talented team in every series they've ever played in, so you're right. That being said, they're still going to lose this year.
Time to see if this server can handle the triple team of MVP, Vahagn and Syphon for a 7 game series.
Manu is still Manu. He can have a good series similar to how he fared vs OKC or he can awful like vs Portland. You can see the improvement the whole year in general from those players. doesn't matter though, heat in 5.

I'd say that's because they tried to focus on taking manu out of his game, but that let everyone else go off. The point guards in particular.
