Anybody disappointed in the lack of Playoff Promos this year?
In 2012 we had the 'BIG' promos and last year was the 'We Are All Watching' promos.
Then we had a fucking amazing Finals Promo
Was there anything this year? At all?
Edit: Pop presser is about to begin : http://www.nba.com/live1/

Which SG would you choose over him? All the best ones are pretending to play point.All-NBA first team: Noah, LeBron, Durant, Harden, Paul.
Harden…?

Harden…?
It's just guards, it doesn't designate point guard vs. shooting guard. Curry was better than Harden.
Ah yeah, forgot about Curry.Which SG would you choose over him?All-NBA first team: Noah, LeBron, Durant, Harden, Paul.

Harden…?
Curry and Lillard for starters. Even Broken-Ass D-Wade who averaged .545FG this year, compared to .456FG for Harden.
45%, with no ability to defend shouldn't net you 1st team votes. Fuck that. It'd be a different story if Harden was more versatile, but he's not.
Curry should have gotten it over Harden. Lillard? nope, he isn't as good offensively and his defense isn't good either. Wade only played like 5 games.Which SG would you choose over him? All the best ones are pretending to play point.All-NBA first team: Noah, LeBron, Durant, Harden, Paul.

I agree guys. Harden is totally overrated.
Not sure if he can be a Alpha or Beta with that weak D, but he probably could be a 3rd option or scoring 6th man for a title team.

Also, Bill Simmons' Article is pretty good. Makes me want to rewatch that fourth quarter before tomorrow's game 1.

Guess this all NBA 2nd teamer: 16.7 PPG, 5.7 APG, 2.3 RPG, 19 PER, completely average defensively while playing 30mpg
This guy continues to be the most overrated guard in the league by a country fucking mile

I'd take Tony over James Harden any day. Tony runs a super advanced offensive system and quarterbacks that whole team. Harden chucks 3's and disappears in every playoff series.
Well deserved first team nod for the best SG in the league. And only 24, good times ahead.
He's definitely closer to 16 than 3 though, no?
Melo's teammates make shots: "He's the third best player in the league!"
Melo's teammates don't make shots: "He's not one of the fifteen best players in the league!"
Melo had a better season this year than last,
Al got third-team All-NBA, good for him.

check his on/off numbers, team barely misses a beat with Tony off the floor

All that says is that the Spurs bench unit dominates the opposing teams bench units too.

the team ate with or without tony
good player, sure as fuck not a 2nd team all NBA guard

The SA System has always made superstars have deflated numbers in order to max out what they get from role players. Plus they blow teams out on the regular and he misses the 4th quarters. On any other team as a 1st option, in any other setting, he can get you Curry numbers. Not FG% obviously, but raw numbers, yea.
Edit: I don't know, there's a lot of good PGs in the league. How the hell is Goran Dragic beating out Westbrook for 3rd team? The hell?

Absolutely, but it's just funny to see the shift in opinion on Melo because his teammates got worse.

I think it's mostly Knicks fans who now want him gone.
Besides, there are some younger players who've made great strides in the last couple seasons.

How is a guy who played 80 games beating out a guy who played 40 and was just as good anyway? Stop posting.
Absolutely, but it's just funny to see the shift in opinion on Melo because his teammates got worse.
someone told me that the gap in quality between melo and durant was the same gap in quality between an average player and Melo
like...what
Hated dude as an SF but he's absolutely awesome at the 4

Because Dragic is really fucking good?

Bron said they don't like the fact that people consider them lucky last year.
I mean we were lucky to have Kawhi miss that free throw, Manu playing like Indy Scola, and Pop having a brain fart when benching Timmy during that crazy sequence

TD only put up 15 & 9, and you're going to try and tell me he's not still one of the best bigs in the league?
hell yeah game 6 was lucky. beat them in OT though and game 7....Bron said they don't like the fact that people consider them lucky last year.

The tip was actually EASIER than it looks there if you see it from the side view angle.
Plus, up by 10 in the fourth. miss 2 free throws in the last 40 seconds. Miami getting 4 chances to make 2 3's because they got an offensive rebound on consecutive possessions.
Definitely an element of luck involved. But Spurs choked, simple and plain.
Manu can't honestly shit a brick again after coming back this year and posting a PER of 20 during the year and the best on and off numbers for the regular season for his team right
...
right?

right?
Manu is a lot healthier this year compared to last year. That's pretty obvious.

Yeah, can't believe he was thinking of retirement a year ago.
They're replaying game 6 on NBA TV againThe end to that 2nd quarter was so demoralizing, LeBron bricking everything vs fat fuck diaw, Duncan styling on us and then the crazy tip in by Kawhi to end it.
This is going to be a great night
Obama aged like 20 years over the past 6.Happens to all the Presidents.
I can only imagine what Hillary will look like by the end of her reign.

Anyways, Ginobli has switched to wearing LeBron 11s this season........
which must mean something good for Miami....yeah

Nah, Wade addressed this too.
Noone said the Spurs were 'lucky' when Tony Parker made that circus shot to seal game 1. Were it not for that shot, the series could be different if the heat score and G6 doesn't even have that weight to begin with. Luck has no bias.
Bringing up what could have happened in an alternate scenario is weaksauce man. The game is the game. On the other hand, Wade and James are overplaying how many people called it luck. There was only a few salty writers that did that, everyone else in the media loved that series and gave the credit that was due, including the Spurs players and coach.

In all fairness, everything that is expensive is almost always incredibly overpriced. You're paying for the brand.
The anxiety is killing me. I feel like the Spurs winning will determine the future of my life. I didn't feel this much pressure with the 49ers or FSU.
It's here! So heat fans where are you at? Yes this is scary, toughest team we have faced in the four years. They got better, we got slightly worst. They now have home court.
But we have the greatest player on the planet. We have a healthy wade which if he plays at a high level is the second best player on the court. We can out run them, we can out defense them. Did I mention we have LEBRON. The greatest players find a way to win.
So I expect us to win, though I would not be surprised if we don't.
Anyway let's go heat!!!!

I'm getting terrible Danny Green flashbacks already. Just defend the fucking three, for goodness sake, and i will have less gray hairs for it.
