It's all pointless if he plays out wide. I felt like his approach (dribbling) to that position didn't work last year and if he doesn't change it he won't do well.

the PL is trying to follow the joke league that is Serie A. A few years ago somebody thought we might stand a better chance if during clutch CL playoff games the teams played on Friday nights, following on the success of joke leagues like the Bundasliga who play games on Friday.
m8s this is a one-off Friday night game because of racists iirc
Next season is when there'll be the occasional Friday night game.

Friday games don't officially start until next season.
This is a on-off because a racist group called the EDL is holding a march in Birmingham on Saturday. Match was moved to avoid it.

I am confused, don't the Chelsea fans hold a march every over weekend in London?

No, just at home games.

Such a dilemma on what to do Friday nights thanks to Aston Villa and Manchester Club FC vs licking out a kebab in a Tesco trolley. What to do.

Randy Newman at 25? That list is abysmal.
Rolling Stone is also the magazine that had recent albums from Bob Dylan, U2 and Bruce Springsteen in their year list top 5 so we already knew they're out of touch.
By Laboured Go To PostRandy there, getting flustered by music opinions.
Rolling Stone no less. Irrelevant publication.

To be fair, Nick Cave is their kind of artist. He's old, been around forever and has a lot of classic albums to his name. Maybe the fact that he's still relevant in today's music business is what puts them off lol
By GQman2121 Go To PostI'm hoping to get off in time for tonight's game. Expecting the opposite of a thriller.
If watching Darmian close down plebs and charge up the right flank isn't thrilling then I don't even want to be alive.

Yeah, hopefully Yurt doesn't get subbed for Valencia this time.
Time to play GoT episode 3 lads. So far I'm really liking what Telltale has done with the GoT universe in this game.

- Manchester United are unbeaten in their last 19 league matches at Villa Park since a 3-1 defeat on the opening day of the 1995-96 season (W12, D7).
- Aston Villa's most recent home win against United in any competition was by a 3-0 scoreline in the League Cup in October 1999.
- Villa's only victory in 39 league games against Manchester United came courtesy of Gabby Agbonlahor's headed goal at Old Trafford in December 2009.
- United have won eight and drawn one of the last nine meetings home and away, scoring 25 goals and conceding only six.
The bolded section is obviously the difference in this game. It can not be overstated enough how big a missing piece DDG is. Before last weekend you could argue that his omission from the side is as big as the addition of Cech for Arsenal. But we now know that's not true....
- Villa won five of their Premier League home games last season - only Sunderland and relegated Burnley fared worse.
- They have lost 34 of their 70 league games at Villa Park since December 2011, winning on just 17 occasions and averaging exactly one point per match during that period (W17, D19, L34, Pts 70).
- The Villans have fared slightly better under Tim Sherwood, taking 10 points from seven home games (W3, D1, L3).
- Villa have not won their opening two games of a Premier League season since 1999-00.
Aston Villa manager Tim Sherwood: "Some of these foreign boys we've gone for are better than the English ones. They have played a lot more games at a very young age. You look at the English boys, they've played five games and cost a mountain.
"We fancy ourselves against any team. You have to have that mindset."
It's probably going to be a bloodbath if Gestede's head doesn't find a ball or three in the box at some point.
lol people really assuming Cech is going to be bad for Arsenal because of one match..... Where goals went in because of multiple lapses in the defense. By god this game is reactionary.
InterTim. :loooooool
