By CCS Go To PostDon't know why you're angry at us. Be angry at Perez for being a cheapskate. If you want one of the best keepers in the world you have to pay a fair amount.Angry :lol
We had this convo before, your definition of fair doesn't seem reasonable. We're not one to not pay a fair amount for our players, we're actually notorious for overpaying.
Perez isn't cheap.

I actually think the price we're asking is fair, based on the amount one season more of having De Gea is worth for us.
X-COM 2 :(
still got plenty of stuff to burn through thankfully
this autumn really doesn't have many interesting titles left standing now.

By Elchele Go To Postwhat did he say (Son)?Basically Calhanoglu said that the advice to go to Tottenham was bad, and the influence of his personal manager wasn't smart.
Son answered with "Don't throw bricks when you live in a glass house.", which is pretty much on point after Calhanoglu forced his move to Leverkusen D:

I mean I still got more than enough to play, but I was really looking forward to it.
Might be better in the end though, semester will be over in february...
By Frustrated_me Go To PostWhat's that price?
The figure I saw widely reported was about £28 million.
By Pennywise Go To PostBasically Calhanoglu said that the advice to go to Tottenham was bad, and the influence of his personal manager wasn't smart.to be fair, Calhanoglu isn't wrong this time around.

2016 is going to be the best year for games forever. Until half of it gets delayed until 2017 and then 2017 will be the best ever.
By Elchele Go To Postto be fair, Calhanoglu isn't wrong this time around.Yeah, but he is like the last person on that team to open his mouth.
By CCS Go To PostI actually think the price we're asking is fair, based on the amount one season more of having De Gea is worth for us.You mean the one season of him being benched?
By Xpike Go To PostYou mean the one season of him being benched?
That's not going to happen. Van Gaal had been clear that he's benched until September, if he's still here then he will come back into the team.
By Frustrated_me Go To PostWhat's that price?
Imo £30-35m regardless of his contract situation. He's the best GK in the world.
Edit: worded that the wrong way round
By Mangoverboard Go To PostPSG in for Coleman, £20m
Aurier and van der Wiel isn't enough?
edit: and Marquinhos :lol
By Tom Go To PostImo £30-35m. He's the best GK in the world regardless of his contract situation.
That's too much. He's a goalkeeper and with one year left on his contract.
20m at best for me is his value in his current condition.
Lads, Seamus Coleman is from Killybegs. The first time he probably ever had running water was when he moved to Liverpool. He won't survive in Paris.

A 'fair' price for De Gea would be like £20m imo
But Man Utd don't need the money at all, so that makes the idea of fairness completely irrelevant.

His value is whatever United decide it to be.
I hope De Gea stays and Gaal will end up getting fired over keeper drama once again.
Anyway what wages is he on? Surely he could buy himself out of the last year, cheaper than the prices you guys are throwing around.

Exactly, simple.
By Frustrated_me Go To Post20mil is fair, absolutely. Anything above is simply not 'fair asking price'.
Do you think £40m for Stones is fair? £25m for Berahino? £50m for Sterling? £60m for De Bruyne? £110m for Illaramendi?
I don't think so either, they all want the most money for their players so when Madrid offer £12m for De Gea Perez can get to fuck.
This discussion is so silly.
Forget about 1 year left on his deal. United are willing to let him go for free next summer so the only questions that matter are how much do United want NOW and how much are Real willing to pay to get him for 1 season.
Probably end up being around 30m because Real are rich.

There is no such thing as "not fair" in this.

M8 i'm talking about what i think, not what man utd think.
Hopefully he stays with you for another year on the bench, and the legend Romero plays all the games from now on.

The communication problems when he first moved must have been hilarious. Talk about a clash of accents

Look, United dictate the price. If they don't think 20m is fair, Madrid should up the bid. If Madrid don't think anything over 20m is fair, they shouldn't bid anymore. It's as simple as that. There's a price, dictated by United. There is no notion of fair.

He isn't going to win Madrid the league or the CL.
Looks like Girona FC (Catalan team in the Segunda Division) being a new City subsidiary club (basically like a Vitesse) is more and more likely to be in the works. The club is primarily owned by a group lead by Pere Guardiola and he helped save them from bankruptcy. Here are some tweets from a few weeks ago (August 12th) with more info on the situation:
Both of these players have been bought and loaned today. Sobrino was for less than that though.
L'Esportiu: Girona (Spanish 2nd tier) are set to sign an agreement with City to become a partner club. Pere Guardiola involved in the deal.
Pere Guardiola (brother of Pep) is using his relations with Soriano and Txiki to broker this deal which could help Girona return to La Liga.
City would sign Rubén Sobrino from Ponferradina for £750k then park him at Girona, and are negotiating w/ Real Madrid to yield their option.
City could also sign highly rated DF Florian Lejeune (24) from Girona for £215k and loan him back for a year. All info from L'Esportiu.
Both of these players have been bought and loaned today. Sobrino was for less than that though.

So, Sunderland are trying to sign Adrian Ramos according to Bild. BVB want €10 million. The next couple of days might become interesting..
Is he good
I keep him on the bench in FIFA because Aubameyang is pure sweat

From Casillas to Degea. The difference is huge.
It's like Szczesny to Cech.
Every PL team has made 4 signings except us.
