By hixx Go To PostWe're getting Januzaj when Pedro signs for Man United.Well fuck that little cunt, we got better people both for loan and to buy.
Seriously lads, quality suit pants. The best.
I'd take Otamendi. In fact I'd quite like him. And 3 other players.

Doomed.I bet we'd let you have Brandon Barker on loan. Actually, in my ideal scenario.. Rony Lopes re-signs and then we loan him out to a PL club. Would be a perfect AJ replacement.

Nevertheless these perspectives and more allow Kojima to weave together nukes and genes, the idea of good people creating something evil, and the powerlessness of individuals within the war machine. It's stuff like this that makes me love Kojima's writing. Okay, a lot of his story choices are just silly or contrived (see: the entirety of MGS4) but the kind of …idk… didacticism where characters go on long tangents on 70s South American politics or genes or whatever appeals to the nerd in me. Ofc a lot of people would see that as contrived - I don't remember a lot of PW but I remember one cassette tape where the (South American) characters start totally unsubtly making references to El Che and Big Boss.
MGS's take on The Selfish Gene theory is that it is a scientific explanation for natural behaviour - but that humans' ability to choose their fate, to use reason, means it is not a prison. Which may not be earth-shatteringly profound stuff, but it's a nuanced theme for a game about nuclear mechs.
PC PES was completely fine for 2015, in spite of a couple of missing graphical bells and whistles. I really, sincerely doubt that anyone would have much difference at all in experience between a PS4/XB1 PES and the PC version, unless you're one of those utter mongs who uses a term like 'PC master race' unironically.
Of course, it's still worth protesting that Konami don't offer everything on the PC version, but the simplest way to do that is just wait for a price drop or sale before buying.

In some ways it's still the best version because of the high quality modding.
By Oddinho Go To PostWhich is that? My favorite fit was Slim Jin but they didn't have selvage except on Regular Ralf back then.
Tapered something. They fit my explosive thighs perfectly.

Not so much anymore; For one thing, the console versions will have option file support with this years when they didn't last year (if I'm not mistaken?) and for another, a lot of the better PES modders on PC have abandoned support due to all of Konami's bullshit over the years - referring specifically to the PESEdit team, but I have heard that others have abandoned the series as well.

Well the mods on 2015 were very good so it's not too bad.
Not sure about option file support for consoles. Think you can import images?
By Mr Cola Go To PostWhats the master league like in pes15 pc?
I enjoyed it well enough, but if you've played previous entries it's still lacking a lot. 2012 had a much more feature complete ML, then for some reason they stripped out almost everything in 2014 (didn't play 2013) leaving a really barebones option. 2015 at least is an improvement but still too basic.

By Linius Go To PostStarted watching Rick and Morty today. Four episodes in now, this is good shit guys.Genuinely think its the least consistent comedy I've ever seen. There are quite a few episodes which didn't raise a single smile, while others have me pissing myself throughout.
I'm led to believe that Community is similar

I really enjoyed that. One of the better footballers biographies I've read.
Paul Merson's was decent too, but that was mostly because it got very dark.

Only the pilot wasn't really great. But episodes 2 till 4 were all great for me. Will see how it holds up.
Community was very consistent in the first two seasons. After that it had some really deep lows but also high highs. There are so many outstanding Community episodes though.
By Pappe Go To PostWonder how much he will cost in FPL. Could be a quite useful.Probably in the 7-7.5 range like Wijnaldum (sp?). I almost feel like Aguero is maybe too expensive and I might need to reshuffle a bit. Tough decision to keep him and Hazard.
Stopped caring about Community after the 2nd season. Watched the third intermittently but gave up after that. It went way off the deep end.. it was at its most watchable (to me) when there was at least some element of realism to it.

Imagine we could play a MMO together. In a vast open area. With interesting missions. While we eat fresh hamburgers.

I was playing PES and saying this is good but god I wish there was a better football game
So I gave FIFA another go and turned it off after eight minutes.

Shocking state of affairs for the biggest sport in the world to have such mediocre games representing it.
PES and FIFA are awful
nothing like the real sport
just go full arcade and play Virtua Striker 2 on the Dreamcast, proper footy game

By wedward Go To PostHateful Eight looks good. Can't wait for that 70mm. Think it'll be better than Django. It seems a lot more slapstick than I expected. Django, which I had forgotten about for a moment despite really loving, and Basterds have a level of humor, but are pretty straight-faced. Lots of the lines look like they're chewed through on the trailer. Not to say that's a bad thing necessarily, it just seems like it has a different tone than I was expecting.

Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs are so much better m8. Please understand.
Both Django and IB had the problem that they were just too long for the content. They were fun and proper movies. Just overlong. Pulp Fiction didn't had that problem at all despite it being just as lenghty.
Anyone got any good football (or general sports) podcasts to recommend? Listen to Football Weekly, Ramble and Second Captains already.

really underwhelmed by Everybody's Gone To the Rapture
Really well crafted world, music is great, some great character moments but overall narrative is really predictable and hollow. Pseudo-David Mitchell Cloud Atlas/number9/BoneClocks type stuff.
Also even with the run button movement speed is noticeably annoying.

Eh, disagree. Watched Reservoir Dogs, Django and Pulp Fiction recently. IB is tense in a way the other three aren't; they're all a lot shaggier and looser but there's a few scenes in IB that have me on the edge of my seat every time. It looks so great and sounds so great and its his best put together film.
I genuinely do love everything he's done though.
I should rewatch some Tarantino's since I've got the blu ray box last year. Includes everything up to IB. Also True Romance.

Well, maybe SOMA will deliever on that front.
Vanishing of Ethan Carter was also rather hollow, allthough it was really well done and everything.

Looks like the game is broken up into chapters so I guess I've finished the first... yet I feel like I've seen everything the game has to offer and what's left is just answers. I didn't dislike it but it also felt like the longest hour I've ever spent in a game.
