By wedward Go To PostEh, I think in the end it is worth it. United are really lacking an identity right now. I think Arsenal have done a pretty good job of incorporating their mercenaries and making them feel like they are apart of something. Even if it's not something as big as Madrid or Barca.
Suppose this is true. And if you get the right characters - which Sanchez and Fabregas are, and Pedro probably will be - it works out alright. Feel massively burnt with the ADM signing tbh.

Yeah, I think Pedro will do fine. The last big contract of his career and a chance to a star.
Don't think Di Maria ever stopped hoping for a move to PSG.

Beautiful game, mind. Scene about an hour in is just stunning yet incredibly simple.

I agree that we really have lost our way since Fergie left, I mean look at the team now, its for all intents a new team and has no style of play or stamp mark, its just a group of players mostly struggling to get whatever it is to work.
However, Herrera, Young, Shaw, Smalling, Mata, Adnan, in those players I see a potential indentity, too early to say about Depay and the GOAT Darmian but is it possible these players could build something over the next 2-3 years?
Its entirely feasible all of those could be leading the team and if so I think we would have an identity, they are top lads.
But right now we are a bit of a shambles.
*Forgot the boy Kane

So how does a soccer prospect make it to the big clubs? Through the academies? How do these international players get scouted?
By ATTICUS H Go To Postnext thing you're gonna show me candid photography of the Hanson brothers circa last EasterThey're still recognizable.
They're all grown up, even have their own (terrible) beer called MmmHops.

Just saw the topic on GAF that Doug,Rugrats and Ren & Stimpy aired 24 years ago, for the first time.
So I was interested in how they look like now, I know about those that are still seriously acting, but not about the rest.

They play at parks and at schools and summer schools and shit, and clubs take them in through their youth system through scouting. A lot of the bigger clubs will poach the best talent from other clubs to bring into their own academies.

I think Evra was one such character for us last season. His "don't tell me we can't score at least one against these cunts" during the half-time break of Real - Juve last season is one of my favourite quotes.

God I miss him.
Just found out my brother played in the same u15 team as the great English journeyman Steven Caulker
The loss of Evra, Rio and then Vidic in consecutive years has set United back almost as much as losing the old man.
