Oof.
That's why they'll go down. They'll score plenty and play well, but they'll go down.
I hate MotD's 'analysis'. It's so incredibly dull. They literally rerun the highlights with even more boring commentary.

Its genuinely awful. Worth just checking out the highlights and waiting until MNF to be honest.

Still better than Channel 5's rectal spewing of the Football League.

I loved it when they had Schmeichel on. He completely fucking dominated their diet coke analysis with actual knowledge of how football is played. Probable small-dick syndrome across the panel means he won't be back.
Gary looks like a magician.
Still so frustrated about that match today. Don't know if it's worse that we should have won and didn't than if we'd played really shit and dropped the points. Almost makes it even more annoying.
I know it sounds like rampant fanboyism at this point, but the team is really missing Herrera. Adds dynamism, shots from a distance (and a central position), links well with Mata...should be starting him and Schneiderlin in most home games I think. Play Schweini in the aways/tough matches.

Ugh 1-1 too. Serves me right. Dropping points early on is so disappointing.
edit: SLAENT is slow as shit for me right now, fucking hell.

It's such a seemingly obvious choice that it leads me to think they have some sort of personal issue or disagreement. Can't really think of anyone else on the team who'd make a better CAM.
Also that little intermission to decide if McArthur's goal should stand is the perfect example of why cricket/tennis style technology would work seamlessly
quick little chat, little stop, boom: correct decision.

couldn't fix results if they had #technology
We are great until we reach the forward line. Rooney is not working with one up front. He's too fat and useless.
We are so moribund when getting into the final third. We need a fast moving striker who tries to make moves - not Rooney. He should stay at home chomping through a multi- pack of Monster Munch. Unless we play two up front then Rooney is useless.
God, Euro 2004 is soooo far away.

Another player under the Sam Allardyce regime who got shipped out after not accepting the agent offered to him, after the whole business with Ravel Morrison experiencing the same.
Not long after this, I had a conversation with my son and he informed me The Academy director had called him into the office to find out who his agent was. My son didn’t have an agent at the time so The Academy director advised that he would get one for him and would then extend his contract for a further 2 yrs. It all seemed like a conflict of interest so I advised my son to be careful and to explore all options for an agent. i.e One whom he could trust and build a good relationship with that had no affiliations to the club. We found a really nice guy, who had worked for the PFA and been a Police officer during a short career break from the game. We felt he was the ideal trustworthy person our son needed in the game.
The Academy director was unaware of this and again asked our son that he would get a further 2year contract and an agent. That was until he found out our son had appointed this different agent. Less than two weeks after appointing his agent (January 2015), The Academy director called our son into his office and told him that he wasn’t getting a new contract and was free to leave. Simple as that!
To say this was a shock to our son was a massive understatement. Everyone around the club was shocked. The Academy director couldn't look my son in the face but assured him that he had wanted to keep him at the club but claimed Sam Allerdyce ( the manager at the time) was the only one at the club who had over ruled him despite coaching staff recommendations. Who could we believe and where did our son stand in all of this? He was devastated and once outside the office door cried his eyes out .
So in effect after 10 years of loyal and dedicated commitment to the club our son became a victim of this whole academy process. Sam Allerdyce was later sacked by the board and 6 months down the line our son is still exploring options in the hope he can find a new club or even new career.
I bet that when Danny Graham was in mid-air attempting that overhead kick he was thinking "This'll show them. I am premier league level. Then perhaps they'll stop booing me."
By flabber Go To PostLazio does have the advantage of more squad continuity.
I suspect Roma's attack will improve as they cohere in the coming weeks. The problem is, of course, that if they can't batter past your lot next week, they'll have already squandered their scudetto hopes.
I'd put money on us to win. Our defense ought to be strong as before, although Roma is of course capable of scoring as we haven't quite figured out Salah quite yet. I think our renewed attacking front has a good as chance as any of breaking down Roma's fairly shaky defense. That ball in today's game against Verona should not have reached Jankovic. 9 times out to 10, a defender should cut that pass out, or at least make Jankovic's life difficult.
haha that fucking mong gesturing and barging the swansea player whilst they're on the attack and score.

He doesn't get booed. He actually puts himself about unlike Fletcher and previously Wickham.

It's because he doesn't keep the ball well enough and adhere to the structure of the philosophy well enough. Every time he plays he performs, but he doesn't conform enough to what van Gaal wants. Annoying, really. Would love to see Fergie with this midfield.
Really happy with the defence (minus Romero) and Schneiderlin though. In four games, given away about five chances. Even the Mitrovic header today was a deep cross and a speculative header from relatively far out. Own goal, the Eriksen chance early on vs Spurs, Thauvin today... can't remember much more. Smalling and Shaw really come on, Blind being intelligent, Darmian and Morgan da gawds
ESPN say we're in for Felipe Anderson.

Oh, we will. Loan + no obligation to buy. What's not to like. He'll make for a cracking backup RB.
