Play like that all season, get a left back, a striker and a defender in and we'll be ok. But we've already dropped 6 massive points.
By hixx Go To PostAll of that and he hits the fucking wall
Dick wanted to replicate Louis' golden change in the wc
Frustrating. I can allow errors from young players but on th goal Vertongen has to know better than to show Mahrez the goal on his left foot.
I just hope Eriksen's injury isn't too bad, without him it's really tough to crate chances.

Weird that. Looking at the stats you'd think Swansea battered us but apart from the header off the post and that Panti save from Gomis I think in general the game could have gone either way. Graham's overhead kick took a fortunate deflection, Fletcher inches away from sliding one in, Coates free header...
edit: forgot the blatant handball by Williams as well.
Get De Guzman in and I'll actually quite look forward to the Villa game. Which means we'll get smashed.

United slaent, 7 points from the first 3 games isnt so bad really, when put into the context of other seasons
Big problems, but still there are good signs there, score when we were on top and suddenly it goes from a "shit show" to "United are coming back"
I understand there is issue there that we didnt score, but still, fine margins

By FortuneFaded Go To PostWest Ham have already had 4 red cards already this season. FIFA Fair Play my arse.So it is four.

By Scum Go To PostSo it is four.Tomkins, Collins, Adrian and Jenkinson. Cresswell to get sent off next to make it a complete defense.
The young Brazilian DM, Bruno Paulista, has started the match for our B team. Only 8 min in but he's already showing some quality.

Smalling and Shaw continue to look so much better this season. Shaw I think we all expected but it's still good to see it. Darmain too is looking good and once again...Daily is looking fine. Not great, not tested too much...but he looks okay.
The first 20 minutes were really good, really enjoyed us in that spell. We need to find a way to play that way more consistently, the ball circulation was nice and quick.
I would bring Herrera is next week for Januzaj. Adnan did okay today but I think he is better in phases of the game whereas Herrera can hopefully bring some more fluidity to our play in general.
That said - we should have won today. It's Newcastle at H so we should be winning but the way the game went we really should have come away with the points. To me it's further indication that whilst we will be fine making the top 4 again...we won't make waves beyond that.
Can u believe me father is a spurs fan, so glad he let me choose my own team to support and love. As much as I want my own son to make his own choices in life, the football team he supports will unfortunately not be one of those choices he's allowed to make.
How does a club with such great infrastructure, finances still revel in such mediocrity for so long. At Liverpool have given their fans reason to believe it's possible. Spurs are just consistently shit

next season you should bring a world class striker and a decent starting CB and you will challenge
By Mr Cola Go To PostUnited slaent, 7 points from the first 3 games isnt so bad really, when put into the context of other seasonsWhat we need is a finisher that can make things happen in the box, because right now when we get there we run out of ideas, we are one dimensional and its really easy to defend against.

Get Lacavette or what ever his name is
Yeah there is no title challenge in the United team, but I am much more comfortable we will get 4th than I was last year, I dont see us shipping many goals and I believe we are better than those below us, but I am not sure how we can match the 3 above.

No - but you still hope for the best and today's game (and the others) have confirmed by suspicions about the teams limitations so that is disappointing so early on in the season.
It's not very exciting.
On a train away from white city and I'm trying to figure out why you would support QPR if you're not local...
Good thing we have another midweek game, the team is getting better, I hope he keeps the same guys in honestly, the more they play the better it will get.
Mitrovic's goal will come and he will celebrate by drop kicking a child in the Newcastle home section and killing them outright. I'd definitely start him over Cisse.

The worst thing is, I really do feel LvG is playing a huge part in these limitations.
For as long as he has style where players fit his system rather than building a system around his current set of players, we are never going to see a consistently free flowing man Utd. But what you get (or what should get) is stability, structure which coming off the back of moyes reign was always man Utd first objective in my opinion. Which in fairness to LvG he is giving you.
By Vivalabanter Go To PostAnyone remember those Cadburys snapsThis is the best chocolate they ever made
Fuck they were good
Where have they gone ;_;
Funny to see that, despite the FA saying they were clamping down and enforcing bans for players that do it, Januzaj didn't even get a telling off for his blatant dive today

Holy shit.
Seven people have died after a Hawker Hunter jet crashed into several vehicles during Shoreham Airshow.
South East Coast Ambulance Service said the victims all died at the scene, with a further person being taken to hospital in critical condition.
The plane crashed on the nearby A27. Fourteen people were treated for minor injuries at the scene.
Holy shit.
Janujaz always disappoints. Extremely overrated player. Why, I have no idea. Never seen him do anything. No one wants to buy him from ManU, but he's this amazing new talent. Sure.

The bright side for United looking not so sharp, is that everyone with the exception of City have not looked very share two weeks into the season. The expected top four are all a mess for a number of different reasons.
Leicester are the surprise; Spurs are the predictable; and Chelsea are the underachievers.

Its just a bit of a realisation of our weaknesses which I hope are ironed out
