Does anyone else play the Ultimate version?
It's interesting in the fact that it counts matches that occur on seperate days seperately so that you can substitute players who played poorly on Saturday with players playing on Sunday. It also incorportates the traditional transfer window with loans available at the expense of a weekly points deduction
One thing to consider for general FPL this year is that they have changed the scoring slightly to incorprate pass completion which will benefit players like Matic.

i'll forget about this in about 3 weeks!
also I think there might still be a fantasy UCL league from last year I can just re up, i'll have a look later.
I can always tell when somebody has picked a poop team when they have 3 players from the club they support.

Innit :lol
No room for sentimentality in FPL lads.

Yeah we'll see who's laughing when Liverpool win the league and propel me to FPL glory.
I dislike putting more than two arsenal players in mine but since I freed up 5.5 for a keeper I don't feel bad about it this time. Ozil and Walcott absolutely going to rape any lower table teams, though I have injury and playtime concerns for the latter.

fucking hell m8
I was seeing your team and i was like "oh only 2 Arsenal players"
Then i realise
Dat Cech
;_;
I don't like to spend money on keepers on FPL, that's why i got the cheapest one who is on his first 11, Tim Krul.
My team:
By n8 Go To Post3 centre backs lol
Amateur
we'll see about that in 10 months m8
FB are expensive as fuck and barely score/assist as well
fuck them
Walters m8? Not like this.
[In Beta]
Might change around the fullbacks, not a good idea to have too many from the same team. Not spending a fortune on GK. Speroni will save me. Incredible injuries.

i agree with n7. game is all about fullbacks and wingers. maybe a CAM if you think they're going to poop on the league.
speaking of CAMs, i would have Fabregas in my team but he's looking lost and anemic all preseason, can't justify it atm.
By Pele.gif Go To PostWhat are you doing fergie#Reckless.
Half of your team won't play lol
When they're fit and firing I'll be top of the league. Watch this space.
Still undecided, will have another look on Friday.

I much rather spend my money on players that actually score/assist like midfielders and forwards.
I can't remember 1 FB with a decent record of assists/goals excluding Ivanovic, who is expensive as fuck for me.
And Ivan is playing more like a CB nowadays.
By Mastadon Go To PostCBs tend to get more points than FBs. The top three defenders from last season are CBs.
Ivanovic, Terry, Jagielka?
Ivan is a full back innit. The other two played every game but they're a year older. Get shook.

Ivan is the exception.
Tell me another FB with a good assist/goal per game ratio.

Clyne and Coleman get good points. I think Darmian will. Bellerin does alright.

Clyne had 2 goals and 2 assists all season.
Coleman had 3 goals and 4 assist all season.
Bellerin had 2 goals and 1 assist all season.
And i'm the amateur.
If Ivanovic has been playing more centrebacklike it's news to me.
things i associate with ivan:
scores goals
dives
a wack hairline
big ass
leaving the entire left side open against teams like hull because he likes to attack so much

Clyne got the fourth most amount of defender points. 6 of the top 10 (including all four of Chelsea's back four) are full backs. Centre backs pick up points because they largely play every game. If you can find full backs who do play every game, they're usually the better choice.
Actually this debate is sorta relevant. The rules changed a bit between this year and last year. the bonus point system has shaken things up a bit.
Might end up actually putting fabianski in goal (killmyself.gif)

Full backs are the way to go... I have Cedric Bellerin and Darmian.
FBs have more chances of scoring assist and goals than CBs. Also price to points ratio makes chosin a Ivan over Clyne redundant.
