What're we listening to here, folks?
In anticipation of a new Coheed & Cambria tour, I've been listening to every album front to back.
I've been listening to the new Alter Bridge a lot, as well.
The Darkness is on regular rotation still. Last album was a slice of perfection, a new album will be on its way soon too!
I found myself a little disappointed by Trivium's latest album...probably because it was too heavily influenced by David Draiman's producing (Disturbed vocalist).
Foo Fighters announced a new album. Quite frankly the last one was motherfucking amazing, and I have no idea how they're going to top White Limo as one of the most awesome songs they've recorded.
On that Dave Grohl note...we need a new and proper Queens of the Stone Age album. And I mean PROPER. Not 3-4 badass songs, and the rest boring and dull.
Also, Deftones announced a new album, which has me super stoked because they've been on a ridiculous roll. No idea how they do it, but God Bless Chino either way.

Like Clockwork is rad as hell, man. I Appear Missing, If I Had a Tail, I Sat by the Ocean, some amazing tracks on there.
The Darkness are still around? Their 2nd album sucked so much that they simply disappeared, no?
Still mostly listening to Temples and Damon Albarn.

I wasn't crazy about their second album up until I re-listened to it and actually loved it many years later. But yeah, they're around and selling out some huge shows worldwide. Their 3rd album was absolutely sensational. I saw them live and was blown away.
New Opeth song:

It's still kind of disappointing that Opeth stopped doing death metal, but they still sound very good despite changing their style. One of the few metal bands that I've seen do it actually well.
