I was kind of indifferent about the TD finale. I just wish that with all the bad shit that happened to them, there would have been more closure during the show itself. Setting up some potential outcomes for after the show doesn't bring me much closure.

Exactly. And because its an anthology, you never see those outcomes.
What a disaster.

By n8 Go To PostExactly. And because its an anthology, you never see those outcomes. What a disaster.Yep. I guess there could be a quote about it in a news report next season or something but it seems like very regional news so unless it takes place out West again, probably wouldn't even hear about it in passing. If you're going to use an extra 30 minutes, at least wrap it up during that period.

Seems a bit unnecessary with the players you already have in midfield
All hail, Jesus!
A lot has changed in this 6 weeks, the way we play now is completely different from last season, we are passing the ball well, lots of dynamic movements. We could have won it by more yesterday as Benfica was very shaky all match. I can´t wait for the next matches, winning the Supercup is a terrific way to start the season.
i was already properly concerned with good players getting bent of shape cause they're not getting in the first team.
assuming we play a diamond, not even counting the tip we'd have nobes, kouyate, obiang, song, poyet, oxford and nolan covering three spots.
could do with a decent winger, but i'm genuinely scratching my head at why we're in for barton. never want to see him starting over the majority of what we've got.

Romero did well on Saturday, but there's just something bizarre about seeing a United keeper in short sleeves.....it just ain't right
"at no point was he unconscious"

finally got yourself a man
Day I knew fabregad was a cunt was when i saw Arsenal go full sleeve under him. I remember he said as captain he would make sure we went through winter short sleeved because it would make the team work harder and he changed his mind and they played long sleeved. Arsenal captains decide on shirt lengths for all

I think his performance is being a little overstated tbh; one good save from Eriksen but not convinced by anything else. Even the other save he made he pushed the ball back into a dangerous area

Don't really disagree. Would prefer having a pivot at DM with pace out wide. That would ulitmately scrifice Mata though I think. Depay really needs to play on the wing.
While I appreciate Young is generally on form, he simply doesn't produce the numbers of players who play in that position at the best teams. It's good but it's not enough. Mata is different in that he gets decent stats yet his lack of pace causes genuine problems on that wing.
Also Rooney's shit.

I was angry with the way they were dealing with Marco Silva and I also thought he would not use much of our younger players but both Ruben Semedo and Gelson Martins played yesterday. We also working the transfer market in a smart, cautious way (except Ciani).
And thanks, Zabojnik.

I have full faith that Depay will shift out to the left once we get a forward in, with Mata or Rooney in the #10.
I hope it's Pedro & not Harry though, as a team we are not ready to accomodate the harikarikaenenkaen with the fathead yet

By n8 Go To PostYes, Rooney is shit. Totally the wrong kind of striker that works in this system.
Honestly think Chicha would suit it better.
Knew offering him a new contract and captaining him would hurt us long term the moment it happened.

The no loss of consciousness thing really grinds my gears. Arsenal / the doctor taking the piss? Giroud was down and out flat, period.Concussions don't always result in a complete loss of consciousness . Guy is probably doomed to CTE anyway because of his love for headers , at the very least you could not make it worse.
Neutral doctor sub way past due.

it was the way the players flipped him on his side. That is not a normal reaction. They clearly felt he was in a bad situation and needed to flip him on his side immediately to improve the situation.
By Laboured Go To PostAye, also having some actual fucking competition might get Rooney off his fucking arse.
It's a proper damned if you do/don't situation. I don't want Rooney in the team, but he's playing regardless. So that means I either have to prefer him up top or in midfield. Sigh.
By n8 Go To PostI think his performance is being a little overstated tbh; one good save from Eriksen but not convinced by anything else. Even the other save he made he pushed the ball back into a dangerous areaHe kept a clean sheet in a defence that had Blind in CB. He has the eyes of the world on him amidst a very tense situation with United's goalkeeper fiasco. The praise is more from the mental side of things than the physical performance
By Shanks D Zoro Go To Postit was the way the players flipped him on his side. That is not a normal reaction. They clearly felt he was in a bad situation and needed to flip him on his side immediately to improve the situation.Unless Giroud was choking on his own fluids while having a post-impact seizure he didnt need to be moved by players either. And if that was the case, he definitely didnt need to be on the field after that point.

We just need to swap Mata and Depay. I am sure we will automatically see a major difference in both their games and ours as a team.
However i dont agree with Herrera being picked as a #10 over Mata. I just dont think he is as creative as Mata can be. But in a 4-3-3 i would love to see a Schweini-Scneiderlin-Herrera midfield.

exactly.
I am sure players have training about how to react o emergency situations on the field. So seeing how they reacted was very alarming to me.
