Martina should have done much better though. I know Wijnaldum's got the momentum but he doesn't even challenge
By Linius Go To PostI'll probably find some solid tunes on Dre's album if I try harder. But it doesn't get me as a whole. Same with Kendrick's new album. King Kunta and Blacker the Berry are crackers. But overall the album is just not for me. I'll put my trust in RTJ 3 for this year.Yeah, there definitely is some there.
RTJ 3 is going to be great. I need some new RTJ.

LVG on Depay: “It is a new position for him and he has to adapt to the new position because he is a goal-scoring type. We have to wait and see if he can fulfil the demands of this position but that’s also because Ashley Young is playing very good on the left side. That is the circumstances now but it can change during the season. He can play in this position.”
As for his ability to create a working partnership with Rooney, LVG added: “Yeah, but he is too eager, I think. I have said that in advance. New players, especially young players, want to show their qualities. The next match, because of that, will be better for him.”
Ashley Young - Killed Di Maria and moved Depay.
What a player.

Biglia is a defensive midfielder. We've zero need for him now we've Carrick, Morgan and Bastian.
Let's get the boy Kane.

Tbf I can see why van Gaal likes Young so much; he's consistently putting in decent performances, and it's terrible management to drop someone who is doing that.
Speaking of Luc Besson. Is Arthur and the Invisibles any good? I went in the ride at Europa Park and got intrigued.

£3m for Younes Kaboul
Three million pound sterling
Was kind of surprised that Young only has 10 league goals and 5 assists at United. I mean, I know he's an average, to above average player at best, but that's a shocking return for a player at a club like Manchester United.
And to be fair, half of those goals have probably been the quality highlight types that you remember, so that's likely why the overall number seems so low.

It's fucking ludicrous :lol. Every single clip they played he was fucking doddering around.
Watching Swansea now. I love them so much. Every single time I see them I'm impressed.

That's the argument for dropping him innit; he isn't good enough for where we want to be. But he's playing well and putting in the effort. I couldn't sanction dropping him until he played poorly, and he hasn't for quite a while.
edit why is the quote system fucked up

Don't want Kane. Yet.
If he carries on the same as last season, then sure, definitely try and get him.
But I'm unconvinced as of now.

I said it after the game yesterday that he was the one attacking player that looked as if he was holding his own and being responsible for what he was tasked with on his part of the pitch. And that's basically what LVG is saying regarding Depay's position. Young is just doing the right things in the current system. It's everyone around him that need to step up and play to their ability.

I agree. Why pay £45-50m now when you can pay £65m+ next summer...

It's not my money so I'm not worried what we pay.
I absolutely think Kane is good enough. Technically very good for the kind of all action strong centre forward he is.
I just don't want Rooney playing anywhere but up top, and you could even argue that in this system he shouldn't even play there.

Kane has it all. Don't think he's comparable to other one season wonders. He's not a speed merchant who the league figured out after half a season.
Seems like a great guy, too. Right attitude.

He regressed considerably last season. He'll be on the bench at Sunderland before long.
Amazing that you lot think there's any chance at all we would sell Kane
By Bungie Go To PostHe regressed considerably last season. He'll be on the bench at Sunderland before long.
Problem is their replacements, unless they buy someone. Coates, Kaboul, O'Shea and Brown is a stunningly average set of central defenders for a Premier League side.
I really don't know why there's a discussion about Kane, considering he's essentially the only striker Tottenham even have. They need to buy in that area, not lose their most promising striker for a decade.
And I loved the Kaboul thing. Sunderland have acquired someone over the summer who's so quintessentially Sunderland in that he's an over the hill defender with a nailed on mistake every 1-in-2 games.
