By everthustodeadbeats Go To PostCoutinho quiets the haters hereSo the criticism wasn't justified to this point? One moment of brilliance does not a shift make.
@Zonal_Marking: Classic Coutinho - a moment of absolute brilliance at the end of a thoroughly poor performance
Yes Mike.
Yes Mike.
By KP Go To PostKeeper should save that.
Liverpool clanking their way to another opening day win.
Hahahahahaha omg m8
You're on something if you call that goal 'clank'

The performance, rather than the goal.

The turn he made to take the pass on, the and the fact he found the far corner from that angle and distance.
By Plasma Go To PostWell at least one good thing is going to come out of us losing.

By Killer7 Go To PostMeh.
Liverpool looked poor. Don't think they have enough for top 4.
Well, we looked poor too lad.
By n8 Go To PostTake bets on how many mentions of 'character' Brendan slips into his post-match conference?
Don't you mean 'outstanding'?

Dat first game of the season analysis :lol
Looked no worse than you.

No where near the corner though was it.

Could very easily say the same about United after Saturday's performance.
Major difference is we didn't require an own goal to win it though.
Boys, clean sheet. We're the new Chelsea. Who knew we needed Gary Mcalister as a defensive coach?
still going to be last on MOTD
still going to be last on MOTD
That arsenal fan reaction shit has become so fucking dull ever since they realized people only watched to laugh at them, just like Barzul, Bakka and Wedward when they became selfaware.
Fucking hell the Liverpool lads piling on Killer :lol
Poor form, Killer. They probably played better than we did.

Harsh on Stoke and Hughes. Thought they had longer stretches of the match where they looked more likely to score. But they didn't. And that's that.
Solid three points for LFC. These are points they'll need in the new year too though.

Yeah, solid result. Like I said, any points you win at Stoke are good points. Going back to a place where you got eviscerated at the end of last season and winning is always good for morale.
Think Lallana is powder puff, but Firmino-Coutinho-Benteke is a good, balanced front three. Ibe extremely raw but will come good. Milner already better than Gerrard. Gomez and Clyne immediate improvement over what came before (and there will be games Moreno will thrive in as well). Positive stuff for you lot, I reckon.

Oh so suddenly you rate Nacer Chadli's team when it suits your argument? :lol

I don't think Stoke are all that tbh; N'Zonzi and Begovic are huge, huge losses. Look at their CM options now; two Chelsea rejects, a Liverpool reject and Glenn Whelan. Bojan and (sometimes) Arnautovic the only players I'd be worried about in that side. Walters is a handful but he's nothing special.
Can't stress enough how important N'Zonzi was to them.

I really want to like Lallana, but he's pony. Holds on the ball forever and doesn't seem to make any decent runs. Firmino looked really bright. Bit rusty like, but you can tell that he'll be a handful.
By DBT85 Go To PostTreble winners are bottom of the league. lolbut m8 Liverpool just won
By Killer7 Go To PostMeh.m8 it's the opening day of the season. We're super rusty. Rodgers' whole fitness coaching is about gradually getting up to speed so we have still have legs for the second half of the season too (I can't remember the name of the school of thought this is from, Phase of Play explained it on RAWK but he banished himself)

By n8 Go To PostTbf Liverpool look a lot more balanced than last year already.Good to hear.
