What little I actually use my PC for, I'm far more productive with Windows than OSX because I'm not spending the time to learn OSX.
A Macbook Pro an WinX would be the best of both worlds for me. right now however I can't think of a single reason I need a laptop though.

He's young, but he's been in the team for a long time and his stats are pretty average. Maybe he plays really well still, but given the way he's fallen off the radar the last 2 seasons (was injured for most of last year granted), his progression seems to have stalled massively.
I've run my eye over Pedro in scouting (youtube) and feel we should should indeed buy him immediately. To have him and Memphis both looking comfortable and more importantly compartment running with the ball at their feet would be nice.

I'm still using a regular macbook I got in 2006, the model was released in 2005 I believe. The battery lasts for about half a minute, the display lighting has become irregular and the case shows a fairly large number of cracks. But the thing still works as well as 10 year old tech can work. I barely have any problems with software or hardware, despite its slow speed of course. It will be replaced by another macbook surely. If only it wasn't for Apple's ludicrous prices and lack of expandability...

Mine from 2007 still works impeccably. Battery needed to be replaced eventually though.
Get an official refurb. You save 2-400 bucks and its indistinguishable from a new one. Just keep an eye on the Apple refurb store for a newer model (they label the model by season). I got a fall 2014 MBP15 inch retina with a 512gb SSD and 8gb ram for the same price as an entry level one because I went refurb.
