By ReRixo Go To PostWould arsenal fans really be happy with Llorente? I don't even think he's better than Giroud, but maybe he'd fit in better
M8 pls
Giroud is shit. Close to Llorente he's good. I have more faith on us getting Benzema then him.
BTW, I have us with exactly 0% chance on Benzema.
By CCS Go To PostHas there ever been as big a gap in levels of beauty in a centre back pairing as Jones/Blind?
What you on about?

You guys know fuck all if you think Llorente is shit. I can't believe I keep on needing to say this but the majority of you premfaces watch two Juve matches under Allegri and assume he's to blame for poor stats. The fact is that he didn't suit our tactics under Allegri because he's the type of striker who needs support from a #10 or the midfield. Under Conte he was very, very good old school striker. Commanding in the box, amazing hold up play, great ability to win aerial duels, better than decent touch, hard working, always in the right place to scoop in loose balls. Now, if you want to tell me that he isn't suitable for Arsenal or Man United's tactical plans, that you need a more dynamic striker, who can run with the ball or take a player one-on-one, or whatever then fine. But he's not shit just because you lot are myopic.

would have preferred Lacazette but that's life innit
Wickham to Palace.
I mean all of our forwards can go, they're all fairly easily replaceable in theory. But the first one to shift is not the youngest one with the most goals of all of them from the last 2 seasons.
Fuck sake, Sunderland.

By Mr Cola Go To PostCan someone explain why Pedro is better for us than ADM? What does he have in his toolkit?more goals, fits better in the team than ADM.

You just described Giroud m9

They are pretty fucking different players. But most important of all, that there's a chance he might actually want to play for you, and not wishing to have gone to paris from the day he sets foot at your club.
By Mr Cola Go To PostCan someone explain why Pedro is better for us than ADM? What does he have in his toolkit?Pedro will atleast try and look interested. That makes him better than ADM.

LOL, too true.
Anyway I wouldn't hate Llorente, but he does overlap with Giroud, would be switching leagues at an old age, etc.
Anything's better than having Welbeck be your #3 choice though.
By Mangoverboard Go To PostPalace should buy Austin. Wickham isn't really an improvement over what they have
Austin will be 3x the price.
However Wickham is on 60k a week so it won't be cheap for Palace either way.

That kid who plays Shaun needs to get his eye sorted out tho. They do it on the NHS, lad at school had the same problem. He had it done and I never had to guess who he was talking to again.
@Zab: I agree. Chiellini has racking up the injuries since last year (CL.....), Barzagli has been a regular absentee, and Caceres too. Rugani and Bonucci are a strong starting pair but Astori wouldn't hurt if we took him on loan.

Probably the Hull City supporter Lloyd using his account
"Palace have been linked with a move for Wickham in the past and a fee in excess of £10million has reportedly been agreed."
Well that makes me feel a bit better. Cheers, Pards.
Before he signed that new contract a few months back he would have gone for free this summer.

Decent loss on Di Maria. £14-15 million + whatever they paid in add-ons and payments to his former clubs.
Tottenham taking a decent loss on Chiriches as well. Not a good time to be selling to clubs outside the Premier League.

Ok Austin would not cost £30 million haha
Didn't Newcastle refuse to pay £16 million for him?

It seems big but as you noted, PL have more money so they'll pay more. After the season he had, I wouldn't have expected ADM to go for more than 40m £. Nothing is to hold him back and doing the same thing at PSG and his price probably should reflect that + his abysmal season performance.

Its fucking daft money. I know he's only 22 but I genuinely think he's regressed since he decided he wanted to be fucking massive. Used to be agile and really good with his feet then he properly bulked up and is shockingly immobile for a someone his age.
Wickham's decent; will do better up front for Palace than on the left for Sunderland. 10m's a bit expensive though.

Yeah but... Pedro's scored against us in a Champions League final :lol
BRADFORD CITY were last night waiting to discover the size of their latest windfall from selling Andre Wisdom to Liverpool as the full-back prepared to finalise a loan switch to Premier League new boys Norwich City.
The defender, now 22, moved to Anfield from the Bantams as a 14-year-old in a transfer that has so far earned the Yorkshire side around £350,000.
BIG ANDRE

Di Canio seemed to think so. Basically called him a soft cunt as well, which isn't hard to believe.
Seems to model himself on Rylan an'all, which was always a worry.
