Academy Award for Dallas Buys Club
Emmy for an actor in a leading role for True Detective

And then another Academy Award for Interstellar? My my. He's definitely going through one of the most impressive acting stints I have seen. His ascension to this tier of acting was unimaginable ten years ago.

He hasn't won an Emmy and probably won't win it over Cranston for part 2 of Breaking Bad's last season. Unless they place True Detective under miniseries or something.

He'll win an Emmy next year for mini-series easily. I doubt they'll put him up against Cranston. Although, as much as I love Cranston, I think Matt has the edge on him this year.

As much as I enjoyed McConaughey's performance in True Detective,Cranston in those last 3 or so episodes of the season and especially in the finale is Daniel Day Lewis teir shit.

But hopefully it's in the mini series category so that they both win.

HBO already announced they're entering TD in the main drama category so it will be Walter White v Rust Cohle. And Jon Hamm will lose as always.
