I think it's that the BR is stronger at medium range, but falls off at long due to spread, and the pistol beats out the DMR at medium but loses at long, so depending on where you're heading and what you're doing you may opt to stick with the pistol.
Been watching all of the Sprint videos again... gah. So good. i'd love for a full BTS on the mo-cap and facial-cap stuff. Like a dedicated hour. Maybe post-halo 5 release. It's so fascinating to see how this all comes together.

By digmouse Go To PostThey ship early so you can pre-load, also the limited edition console comes with everything physical from the limited edition like the small statue, steelbook and documents minus the disc, you are not missing anything.
By Wesleyshark Go To PostReally don't see what the issue is. You get everything except for the physical disc itself. You can still put the case on your shelf, and you don't have to switch discs to play halo 5 or something else. Plus you get the console a week early, which is cool.
That is just it though. Not having the physical disc means the case in the LE that comes with the console(if they even give you a game case) will be missing a disc lol. and if they dont give you a game case, then you are missing a piece of the games box art. not to mention the disc also has art on it. I dont really collect tons of halo items since I dont have the money to buy up tons of halo stuff, but when it comes to the LE's I want the whole package.
They should just simply have the OPTION to go physical or digital i dont really care about pre loading as I can easily get the console at midnight to start playing asap if I want to. And I dont think any major game retailer will be skipping midnight for something like Halo.

I don't mind it at all, the Plasma Rifle was always a boring weapon in my eyes. The Storm Rifle looks cooler, makes a more satisfying noise when you shoot it and it has a neat smart-scope animation. Not a problem if you ask me.

But then again, the Plasma Rifle has basically been dead in the water since CE, so it's not like I've got any particular attachment to the thing. Hopefully they've got something interesting planned this time around.
