I mean, to be honest, that sort of body type seems more natural looking to compliment her (newly acquired) DD's. Her H4 version always seemed a bit higher on the breast-to-body ratio, no?
I've somewhat got my fiancee's backing on this, lol.
I thought the model they used for h4 was pretty alright, they did a body scan for the model after all. Although I imagine it had a bit of tweaking.

I can't stand the new Cortana. Looks unnatural and over emphasized.
I hate how "perfect" she looks now. Halo 1 was the best cortana because she had a physicality and style that matched her dialogue. Now she just looks like the typical eye candy woman for a piece of media entertainment. I guess we shouldn't be surprised. We can expect that Cortana's new look can be argued away by: "We have more polygons now. This is the way she was always supposed to look. "

No issues here. CE cortana was pretty slim, but looked more petite in general and wasn't rocking Halo 4's "mocapped by an underwear model" look. I also liked that she didn't look completely human in CE - or at least seemed stylized, even in-universe. Whereas 2-4 have made it more "as human as humanly possible," mind you.

That Cortana remodel is bad. She's not fat, but that is definitely out of shape which Cortana has never been in any of her iterations.
This is moreso a comment on body representation in general rather than on this specific instance but if you want to have a larger variety of body types being portrayed in media, you should be creating new characters, not changing established ones.

H4 definitely had the best face model and a animations, which helped sell her plight and her emotion really well.

I really think while that Bulimia dot com thing was done with the best intentions and all, it's kind of dumb. Even considering that Cortana isn't even human, her body type isn't some anorexic, unobtainable, out of reach shape.

H4 model looked great, but it was a wee bit too curvy and all that for me. I know they wanted to fully emphasise her humanity (the facial animation nailed this), but it also felt a bit too sexy.

And when it swayed in motion that to me was a reminder that Cortana was alive - practically human. In Halo 4 it seemed kind of generic, but maybe that's what they were going for; more human.
