I think the whole point of dedicated servers is to fix the lag issues previous Halo games have had in online campaign co-op.

It may be a bit shaky on launch night just due to the sheer volume of people thronging the servers. Barring that, it should be a markedly more consistent than P2P.

I had Fabled Mythic on old Bnet. I remember Halo 2 arguments about the Plasma Rifle not sounding like the Halo 1 version. People act like Halo 3/4/Reach/5 started the split. No we split the moment Halo 2 and it's dual wielding, noob combo at 90+ degree turns, overpowered full auto pistol playing as someone not the chief game was released.

Have fun on Regret "OH GOD THE SNIPERS AND DRONES" and Gravemind "Hey let's start you off with no shields and a worthless needler against guys with brute shots and plasma rifles that fire 2x as fast as well as 2x the damage."
I'm going with my original hunch that Cortana is the one unleashing the guardians and Chief is trying to stop her, but ONI/UNSC doubts Chief will be willing to stop her and misinterprets his character and integrity. It just makes too much sense with the way she is portrayed in some of the footage. Chief sees Cortana saying the domain is open and then sees a guardian. Locke's team is sent after him and in the Hunt the Truth episodes Chief is still a hero.
