Glad to see the Gold announcement. I'm quite happy with the content at launch, Warzone looks like a lot of fun and campaign being beefy again is a welcome sight. Hopefully BTB and Forge additions post-launch will have a positive effect, bring some people back and keep the game feeling fresh.

The issues you're bringing up with Halo 5 are different from MCC. MCC's problems are not a result of features being delayed, but rather that everything was broken at launch (and some stuff still is). It's a much different workflow to add in new features post launch than to be fixing bugs, as you're not actually ever working on live code. I'm not saying you should necessarily agree with how they're going about it, but it's not the same thing as MCC.
I honestly am not a huge fan of the staggered release, and it is kind of disheartening that the game is lacking a lot of features of past games. Have they talked at all about how sharing maps will work with the new Forge? It seems incredible they'd spend so much time making such a full featured map editor and spend so little time on a good sharing solution (custom game browser, map ranking system, anything). It's also disappointing that it appears (so far) that you can't use the legendaries or req weapons in Forge and customs...there's no reason not to give forgers every tool possible to create unique gametypes. In most map editors across all games it's not rare to see unique maps built entirely around obscure mechanics.

Glad server tests are becoming more common, just wish they weren't locked behind pre-orders. Having them open leads to better results in terms of seeing if the current set can handle huge work loads or not.

It got really popular there and on Imgur too, and now my friend who I showed it to right before I uploaded it back in March just messaged me to tell me it's been posted by someone else and is now on the front page of funnyjunk.
I think funnyjunk is a junk website but it is pretty cool to see it be widely recognized.

Microsoft has control, no matter how nice or how great Josh, Frank or any 343 employee is. Microsoft is sitting at strike 3 with me. So, if there is messing up Halo 5 Forge, leaving out whole Halo communities (poor racing and Elite fans) and the possibility that custom games being joinable has changed from that non - company websites June interview comes up, I will be prepared to make hard choices. I choose at this time to be more forgiving, as I have a terrific friend I want to make happy with a day one gift I purchased for him, a Halo 5 disc.
Ragnarok...if he tones it down a bitty bit, can we keep him, albeit on a short leash?
