I'm just curious how Fahzgoolin wants Locke to sound. His voice seems to match the character perfectly if you ask me. From what we've seen he seems like a guy who is confident almost to the point of arrogance, and the voice matches. Just because it doesn't sound like a twinkle toes unique snowflake voice compared to other badass deep voices we hear in video games doesn't make it a "cringe-worthy" performance. I don't follow that logic at all.

I have no particularly strong opinions on Locke, so I find strong opinions on him a little weird. I get people might not like the direction/him in Nightfall etc, but I find such reactions a little extreme. 'Cringe' to me is something overtly, obviously terrible. Locke just seems a bit rote at the moment, which is hardly exciting, but nor is it some great sin.

I'll give him a chance in Halo 5 where we can have more context to his character and development.

That said, 343 has done nothing to make him remotely likable IMO. His lines/delivery always sound forced and dry without any emotion at all. Even down to the line with Buck: "You ask...you buy..." It's not funny, charming, or even normal. It sounds like every line he has he's trying to sound cool and take everything too seriously.

Only slightly kidding. I did like the "All hail the conquering hero" delivery. But in general his delivery is pretty flat.
Also can some of ya'll check out/help me test my duck hunt map? I made it more involved and more team oriented. Infected players come back as zombies (no longer you get sniped you're out for good) and you have to carry a bomb through the course while worrying about the aforementioned returned zombies and the original sniper zombie. Also I included a fun little mongoose section. I only need 3 or 4 of ya'll and i'd be eternally grateful, cuz as much as it looks like a piece of crap, I'm really proud of it and I truly do believe it could be fun if a lot of people play it after I post it on reddit or something. :/

Sorry JazzyGirl, I kinda missed out on your arrival since I believe it was at the same time as one of the (in)famous drunken Halo nights that the others like to arrange and I don't participate in those. If you took my post about dyeing hair as an attack on your personal decisions then I apologize because I probably could have worded it better. If it makes you or anyone happy to dye their hair, then more power to you (or them).
