Now look at this Spartan behind the wall. His character model doesn't move as fluidly (as seen in the link above) until the player chases him around the corner and gets close to him.

I've noticed this in the campaign videos as well. I first noticed it with the Jackals.
I think with multiplayer it's hard to judge. To me that looks like the player spotted the other guy and backed up. That player the video's POV was from was coming around at the moment he started backing up. So you're only seeing a sliver of him. So basically what I'm saying is it looks fine to me. Really no different then any other Halo.
Course I'm not one that's really picky on things like that so maybe to everyone else it isn't as smooth looking. But I'm gonna say it probably would have looked fine had you seen the entire model behind the wall.

Yea still not seeing it. Looks no different then any other Halo game's multiplayer to me. Love that video btw. Watched it several times since it was released. I alway love the guy's epic save the first time he jumps to the pit.

I noticed what you're talking about, but more in campaign gameplay than multiplayer (we've talked about it in some GAF threads). Animations are definitely choppy when enemies do certain things like turn, especially from a distance. It's just very noticeable when everything else runs so smooth.
Under a month! Warzone stuff coming tomorrow! I have my herbs prepared for my 2 day lock-in after launch. I'm not taking launch day off but the two days after in hope they'll get multiplayer running fairly smooth at this point. Am I asking way too much from 343 here?

TTK story is great. Still has lots of room for improvement, but it's miles ahead from the vanilla. The Grimoire has always been fantastic since the beginning... But the vanilla barely touched on it at all, and that was a mistake. TTK is kind of Grimoire Lite- a lot is still buried in the grimoire, but some fairly major plot beats make it into the game.
I'd imagine that the inevitable DLC in '16 and Destiny 2 (whenever that is) will be more deeply tied into the actual lore... At least I hope, given how much they advanced things with TTK.
