I swear, man, in situations where Evilore's personal opinions get directly involved, bans and moderation should have to be done with majority votes from several mods. As-is there's basically always a risk of getting nuked if you try to call Evilore out on any potential bullshit, and he more or less has to keep up this monolithic facade and doesn't end up learning anything from these discussions unless he gets to have the last laugh by locking up the thread. The same bullshit happened in the past major "would you date a transgender individual" thread where - after several days of discussion and finally getting some people educated on that shit - he abruptly closes the thread and demods Mumei on account of "this is one of those discussions where nobody's ever going to completely agree," so he basically just said "fuck discourse" and shut the thing down because he couldn't come to terms with his own sense of subjectivity. When Mumei's demodding made it to LGBTQIA+ and BCT, several posters in the former expressed feeling alienated before getting warned by moderation not to discuss it, and then when the latter got word of it Evilore just tried closing up BCT for three months (presumably before bish intervened). Dude needs some sense of humility that doesn't involve punctuating threads with a lock and "oh no guys it's cool don't worry i know when to stop these kinds of discussions."

I mainly just hope the menu music isn't grating. I prefer some soothing ambient background stuff, otherwise it gets old fast. Other than that I'm fine with it as long as it's responsive.

I feel quite the opposite. I feel there is room for both. Official releases like the opening cutscene are to get us HYPED. And they do, it is exciting. Where these info leaks are cold and dry because the information is cold and dry. For example, I saw there is not a control scheme that allows jump and thrust to both be used without taking your thumb off the right thumbstick. Now I know I need to buy the Elite controller. Information that could have been useful a month ago when I would have more time to budget along with my other large purchases.
These kind of leaks help educate the fans with information they should know about, but 343i has been horribly slow to release. It either tells people super simplistic dry information like, they won't have to pick out a new emblem for Halo 5. (I have had to 2 Halo games in a row now and I would like to know before midnight on release day this time) Look at the REQ leak. That information was out there for months and thanks to the leak, it was then in the hands of the people who needed that information. Of course, surprise surprise, 2 days after it gets leaked 343i puts up REQ information that could have been released a long time ago.

Hologram better be in H5. It'd be great if you could unlock a series of armor mods featuring holograms that do different things (thrustergram, stablegram, clambergram, etc.)
Another easy way to fuck with people would be to have your Spartan's SFX doubly come from the hologram, but at a slightly reduced level - seeing a Hologram run past you and then rub up on a wall is pretty telling, but I could see plenty of people falling for "HEY, NICE ASS, SPARTAN" as it runs by them.

Almost as news worthy as the actual reveal, with the added bonus of going viral, while showing few actual details.
I'm still hoping they reveal forge by showing Orion and Pegasus from the beta and then how they look now with all the changes they've made to forge since the beta. Hopefully with the maps looking disc-map quality.

There are 175 different "designs" at launch, with an armor suit and a helmet for each design. So that's 175 armor sets and 175 helmets… creating over 30,000 different combinations.
