The guy is constantly bringing awareness to injustices happening to "brown people" / muslims / women / etc and calling for action in their defense. The tweets about this read like stream of consciousness from him (and his more recent ones he's basically lessened his stance quite a bit). He's one of the last people in the world I would expect to truly buy into a conspiracy theory.
EL, on the other hand, has never struck me as anything but a complete and total fuckwit.
