I bought the 360 collection, played mgs2 for like 10 minutes, raged at the controls, then returned it haha.Having played earlier MGS and GZ where enemies are often (if not almost) near blind, the sheer increase of enemy sight range and awareness is frustrating at (a lot of) times.
I can see why someone who doesn't like stealth wouldn't like this though. It supports stealth and guns blazing, but it definitely rewards you more for being sneaky. And it's a hell of a lot easier to sneak through everything.

Does anyone else find it weird that you can get Locke's armor?
As far as we know we can't get Chief's armor, so it's a little odd to me that we can get Locke's. It's hardly a big deal but I would be lying if I said I won't be a little weirded out come launch day when I jump into multiplayer and there are tons of red Lockes and blue Lockes running around. Just seems out of place.
Thoughts?

When you choose an option in the Body Armor tab, it changes your chestpiece, shoulders, forearms, thigh, knee pads, calf armor, foot armor, and back armor. Not too shabby.

Saw something on reddit that I think made a very good point. We haven't really seen a whole lot of "new" weapons or vehicles for multiplayer. The poster said maybe we are in store for a new enemy for the game, that 343 just is not ready to reveal yet, or rather reintroduction of an old enemy, like the Brutes. Perhaps that is why we've only seen human maps and a few covie maps for MP. Maybe the other ones are in a Brute home-world aesthetic.

Blue Team will walk in the bathroom in a single file line covered in blue body paint while chanting over and over: "don't make a girl a promise, if you know you can't keep it."
The scene's camera slowly fogs from the steamy heat and then you hear "chief wake up!"
Suddenly you are in a spaceship with blue team flying to your unknown destination.
Don't ask me more questions. It's all I know--I swear!
I hope we can buy high res print quality versions of those hero shot images. I know I'd go a canvas/poster setup in my man cave. Source? Or Stinkles feel like PM'ing some large digital files over? :) A fan can dream.

I was talking about the $99 version. Comes with some Guardian statue. Bit too expensive for my tastes considering I don't want anything to do with that statue.
