I don't think that beta thing had any legitimacy. Something that someone said on reddit or Twitter and then it became "official" as the telephone game took over.

I would agree if Frankie had come out and said it wasn't legit, but he's kept his mouth shut. He was pretty quick to shoot down the idea of Forge being at PAX Prime so I'm curious why he hasn't done the same here.
I feel like the idea of "no comment is the same as a yes" is silly. It's a business just like anything else, they don't have to comment on every single rumor.
If he had to hunt down and shoot every rumor out there about Halo he wouldn't have time for anything else lol.

Honestly I did better in my classes when I had Halo: Reach/Gears 3 at my dorm than the subsequent years and freshman year when I didn't. I guess when I'd be stressing over an exam I'd play games of mainly Halo and boost my confidence up in some roundabout way and be more motivated to study afterwards. It made zero sense, but it worked.

One thing I always found odd with Lasky's and Chief's relationship in Halo 4, is the fact that he tends to repeat things which Chief (is supposed to) knows. Maybe he's just re-emphasing or repeating since he was younger when Chief saved him (in Forward Unto Dawn).
But has it even been clarified that Chief remembers him etc...?
I guess his introduction on the mission Infinity makes sense since he hasn't seen Chief in a long time, but at the end of Halo 4 when he's saying he grew up his whole life on the academy.

Well, I guess MC could have assumed that Laskey grew up on that planet for sure. But it wasn't explicitly stated that he was natively born there. Also could just be a little nod for folks who didn't watch FuD.
