I think he means when you play with guests on your team. It's a dreadful sight to see when you finish matchmaking and find yourself playing with 3 guests.

That said I'd rather have to put up with guests and still have splitscreen.

Eh, after spending a few minutes figuring it out it's quite easy to use imo. It's also really clean which I like.

My homebrew dark theme has made things better as well.

My only issue now is that there's nothing to differentiate when someones quoted you.

There better be a #BUTT emoticon by the year 2018.

Otherwise I'm suing, and yes, I'm being serious.

yes. and he is saying that guests sucked to play with and against on live. by removing split screen, he doesnt have to deal with them any more. he is saying a reason why he is glad its gone, which isnt meant as a counter to why you like it in.

I dislike ADS as well, I just think it's not that offensive as it could be. I'd prefer a different score on the BR, pistol and carbine though. DMR, LR and Snipes seem alright.

The forums launched in mid-November (posts from before that were migrated from our old temporary forum). There are a ton of features the software supports that we just aren't exposing through UI yet. We want to make sure the site is not buggy / slow / janky before we do (part of the reason we went with our own software was we were tired of off the shelf forums going down when someone blew on them). Be patient, and please voice your criticisms. Especially when it comes to things being slow or crashing, because that's unacceptable.

Dark Theme is coming soon. Or if you're on PC you can use Jem's Black Aftermarket Theme.

there's a checks and balance of moderation here on Slaent.
So that means there's no defacto "Evilore" that has the final say.
You can be at ease knowing that all moderation will be decided by a board.

Shit like Zoom for AR is fucking cool but having iron sights for SMG sucks.

EDIT: don't care for resolution. Give me a tight 50-60/Locked 60fps for MP and I'll call it a day.

Same feelings towards resolution myself. It could look like Halo 3 with a better AA solution for all I care as long as it's buttery smooth 60FPS.

Smart Scope is "functionally identical" to classic scope outside of a few differences:
- obviously way more crap gets thrown onscreen, opaque sight blockers (rifle scopes and whatnot) as opposed to just darkening your peripherals; peripherals are blurred out a bit, as well
- some weapons have alt-fire modes in ADS
- ADS automatics have improved spread, though apparently this has been changed modified since the beta

It doesn't slow you down, thankfully, but it does affect the FOV slightly and as a result can make it seem like you're moving more slowly. I personally want traditional scope for traditionally-scoped weapons like the BR, and then ADS for weapons that did actually smart-uplink and use your "visor zoom" camera thing. ADS on Plasma Pistol could be neat, for example. I just don't like the presentation of ADS on precision weapons because I feel like it's throwing way too much crap up on-screen and peripherals zoomed in were half of the point of looking out for stuff.

EDIT: and to add to what Wahrer said about Alt-fire modes on weapons, the only one we've really seen is the Promethean Light Rifle, which changes the 4sk burst rifle into a 3sk single shot rifle. I know that sounds like a load of crap, but it's actually really fun to use.
