As of right now a much earlier street date, my amazon preorder adjusted to the 27th but the Ms store is releasing it the 6th.

Denial drops their entire team (assuming since aPG and Heinz left, Denial decided just to start anew.) I'm thinking Chig and Mikwen will look towards TSM or Fnatic, but of course who knows if either of those orgs want to get into Halo anyway.

Crimson contacted msoft support and asked if 3rd party retailers will have the same street date and they said they should. Hmm.

What does everyone hope about H5:G forge? Considering we have DLC for free, do you think forge should be much bigger in terms of making amazing maps? Some have always thought the reason forge was held back a bit was to purposely make it so the DLC maps could not be outshined, since they had to sell the dlc.

I Never really thought this. I always thought it was the hardware / development time that was holding forge back. Hence why so many pieces were the same color lol.

The more they involve the community the better the game is going to be, and the more steady the population will be. So I hope forge is as full featured as possible so we can have some amazing community creations.

I think we're in for a decent forge. I don't think it will reach my vision of what forge should be. I didn't really like the look of the forge maps in the beta, but who knows how early forge was at that point.

You know my wishful thought is that when they do show forge, they start off by showing Pegasus and Orion again, but this time completely reskinned, near disc-map quality in terms of textures, colors, and lighting; showing how good forge is.

My #1 wish is for Forge as a full-fledged Win 10 app. Design the maps on your tablet/PC, import it to the 'bone. Or build it on the 'bone, if fighting with a controller is more your speed. Would make everything sooooo much easier.

Past that... having a color/texture palette for each piece would be a great step.

Anything less than a PC editor for Halo maps will be disappointing, but I don't honestly expect that.

Realistically, I'd like an, essentially, much improved Forge, with terrain and texture options.

Yeah I really want a damn PC editor. Doubt it happens for Halo 5 (could come post launch, but I find that even more unlikely.)

Need to campaign for that shit for H3A. Would make sense to take Forge to a completely new level for the game that added it in the first place.

Yeah, if it happens it'll happen at launch or not at all; can't imagine it'd be easy to build the connections in ahead of time and fill in the editor later. If not this one, Halo 6, maybe?

But that Ghazi guy, is he the same infamous "Ghazi" that I see on 8chan alot. Almost everytime I'm at my buds house he has /v/ opened up and I see the guys name thrown up.

I get the reasoning on not handing out the name of the mod that banned the user. That seems like the sort of thing that could end pretty badly.

You have to go to the website, make an account, link your Xbox or PSN account to it, then go to callofduty.com/blackops3/beta , Redeem Code, enter your code, pick a region and platform of choice, and then wait until you receive an email explaining how to download the beta in preparation for the 19th (start date on PS4) or the 26th (start date on Xbox).

In order to get a beta code, what you need to do is go to Amazon.com and preorder Black Ops 3 on your platform of choice. Once you've done this, if you haven't received an email with the beta code from Amazon, you look up "amazon support live chat". Go through the motions of support, and once you're in chat, tell them you didn't receive your code. They might switch between several different people, but eventually you will get someone. Ask them to just give you the beta code, and they will certainly oblige. Take that code and put it in the previously mentioned Redeem Code page and submit. After that, you're ready to wait for an email from Activision on how to pre-load the beta so you can play it the day it becomes available.
