I'd be fine with that. Last night I just wanted to play CE/2/3 doubles. Instead I went into BTB because I knew there would be a population and I would have a chance of playing CE(surprise, I had 0 CE games).

By db Go To PostGamers are always quick to call devs liars or whatever. Them developing a game that didn't live up to certain expectations you personally hold doesn't mean they lied. Ugh. Learn to argue the actual merits of the game without insulting the developers.

I'm still in the camp that believes 343i knew MCC was broken before launch, but higher ups at Microsoft were telling them to play it off as non-issues. The biggest tell for me is that in the launch tournament, it doesn't make any sense to use an old build of the game that is known to be broken, but that is the excuse they went with. People literally had street copies that broke launch date with the exact same problems that the pre-launch tournament version had.

You know what feature I'd love to see make a return? Clans. I need clans. There's a lot of opportunities they could implement to make this an extremely solid feature.

Ever since they revealed the Halo Channel, I thought that'd be a pretty awesome place for Clans to live in. Granted, that was before we got our hands on the HC and it was buggy and laggy and unintuitive.

If they revamped it to run properly, here are some things I could see them throwing in there:
Clan view/edit
Clan following
Clan snapping
Clan live-stream
Clan game-posting
Clan map strategies

343i seems to want to reemphasize communication and the social element of Halo, and I think Clans could be the vehicle to take them/us there.

Clans in h2 were great especially since xbox live in their profound wisdom only let you have so many people on your friend's list.

Yeah, the concept is great (having basically all non-game digital Halo content available in a console app), but it was very poorly implemented. I honestly do think part of its problem is just that getting any Xbox app to function without lag is already a chore. I've not found a single instance of snapping an app that takes less time than going back to the homescreen, opening the full app, checking what I want, and then going back to my game.

Hopefully, the Win10 update will help the overall snappiness of the console's home and apps, which I do think will help the HC, but it still needs major TLC for the user controls (horrendous).

I got back to thinking about the physical vs digital in the console LE situation, and came across a thought. A simple solution would be an answer to this question:

Does the LE console even come with something that holds a disc?

If it does, I could just simply get a 2nd copy down the line and put that disc in the box. That way I can just use the digital coppy for easy access since im pretty sure im never going to uninstall halo 5 anyway. I came across this Idea since i was gifted a digital copy and even thought I have the physical MCC, it was always nice just being able to launch it without taking the disc out of the case.

What i am worried for(and this is the original reason I brought this up before), is I think the disc case that comes with the H5 LE is unique to the LE like halo 4’s. If that is the situation, I would need that physical disc & case :( But if its like reach LE where the box art disc case is the same as the normal edition, i could just simply get a cheaper copy of h5 standard & put that in the LE case after launch.

I wish simple questions like this could be answered T-T

What I'm hoping is that we're seeing some sort of meltdown and we get some good administrative explosion with some sort of mod castration, because the suddenly crackdown is incredible. It's like moderation standards went up literally over night.
