Only Kotaku would make an article bashing a game they didn't even play. I'm pretty tired of people watching the B roll and saying the environments look all the same... It's ONE mission of a lengthy campaign but apparently it's all the same.
I'm glad there's only like two writers I give a damn about at Kotaku (Jason and Doc Bruford) so I don't have to keep giving them clicks.

Funny how protective of that site they are now. These are the same people that made that "lol Kamiya hates PC" article that had him asking the writer if he ate shit. Then there was the whole Dragon's Crown faux outrage, with the article's writer calling the Sorceress character a "loli". There is a good soundcloud with David Jaffe basically tearing one of their writers a new one for accusing him of misogyny. Kotaku has never been good.
