I have picked up on a few artists over the years and I still listen to occasional mainrstream stuff, but I can't honestly call myself a hip hop head and I don't think I can ever realistically be again.
What I would like to ask is if anyone has any suggestions of newer artists and albums that are worth listening to?
My taste is in very cerebral hip hop, artists who are very lyrical and have substance as well.
I haven't really been impressed with anyone outside of Kendrick but that's kinda what I'm looking for. My favourite rapper has been Los for quite some time now and I would love to find a couple more artists like that.
