I get this is the "general discussion" part of the board, but you've got people posting articles about some real serious/tragic situations and the place they have to post them is a subforum called "and?"

That's my point. We can keep the real/depressing stuff on the site but it's not like it's a priority to post the fucked up news of the day. It's accessible but kind of quarantined at the same time.

Calling it 'And', 'Off-Topic', 'General' or even getting rid of 'And' all together doesn't really make a whole lot of difference. 'And' only sounds low-key insulting is if you're looking at it from a cynical perspective, as in 'And? So what?' but that's not the point.
I was v confused when I first entered slaent.com and thought there was some glitch causing the subforum to be called "And."
