What's likely then is that we haven't taken Sassuolo's 15m and will just give them 3m next season. Basically we're paying them 3m to take him on loan and make sure he plays. Its exactly the same thing as what happened with Giovinco a few years back (except that was a co-ownership deal where we sold half and bought him back for more) and Zaza. I do feel shit about those types of deals but I need to remember that we win in the long term on these moves.
Sassuolo is contractually obliged to sell him to us, but whether or not he plays is ultimately up to him. We can't force him, but there is nothing to suggest that he won't follow through with that. We've spent a lot of money on him, after all, and its always been clear that we value both his development (which is why we left him at Sassuolo) and his future. My money says he asked to stay another year at Sassuolo and that suited us fine, just like with Zaza who now wants to take a step up.
It'll all be fine bb <3

It just doesn't make sense to me why Juve would in effect pay Sassuolo 3 million to let him stay there. Sass should be paying a premium seeing as he is their best chance of staying up.
I am sure in the end it will all work out for the best, but my dream was for him to score 50 goals in all competitions leading Juve to the treble before scoring 12 goals on the way to winning the Euros against Spain. He then caps off 2016 with winning a balloon and dedicating it to the greatest player who ever lived and his inspiration, Totti.

It's a buyout clause exclusive for Juve, just like the one with Zaza, and it'll be exercised regardless of form. Gentlemen's agreement with the player and his agent of some sort (we do this a lot, remember when we bought Marco Motta despite being utter shit)
Zaza had a bang average season yet we still bought him. It's just a way to 'save' 15 million
Just like Pirlo, Full Metal Giak etc.

CEX is unbelievable. How the fuck do they convince people to buy used shit more expensive than you can get it new?
I know an uncomfortable amount about Zaza and Berardi, more than I know about Liverpool's transfer targets, by a large margin.

and lets not forget his greatest achievement of all, getting Roman to buy Chelsea.
His most notable Chelsea performance came against Liverpool on the final day of the 2002–03 season, assisting with the first goal and scoring the second at Stamford Bridge to give Chelsea a 2–1 victory and fourth place in the league, which allowed the club to qualify for the upcoming 2003–04 UEFA Champions League tournament. The importance of this result cannot be overstated, as qualification for the Champions League was considered essential to Roman Abramovich's impending takeover of the club
What a time. Thank you for securing the oil money.

They may be a more prestigious club but that's not everything is it. Ask Lallana and Lovren how being at a more prestigious club is going for them. Do they have softer benches? Personal ass splinter removers?
I dunno man. Maybe I'm in a minority but if you're playing week in week out in a club that is growing every season achieving new heights why throw it all in to go and play for a club in the same league same European competition and try calling it a new challenge. I understand players wanting to test themselves at the highest level. Liverpool is not that level.

He'll be playing week in week out at Liverpool too, who have made a couple of good signings and will more than likely be in a better position to be competing for honours than Southampton. Plus the extra money and the extra visibility in regards to a place with the national side (shit as that is, but it's the truth), it's a no-brainer.

Also we'll win something before Liverpool.

I desperately hope you're right
I still find it mildly bizarre we went cold on Clyne at that price. I can only assume we're going for Fabinho instead?
Don't think the national team point can be overstated tbh
If he'd been playing as well for us as he has been for Southampton, he'd be England's rightback. No question.
I know you're a thorn in William Hill's side 3Sixty, but I don't know how you came to the conclusion that you're likely to win something before we do. We were absolute dosghit last year, and still got to 2 semi-finals. That's nothing to boast about, but its way further than you got iirc.

Schweinsteiger is an embarrasement to football. The way he couldn't even watch Robbens penalty against Chelsea, and had to be yelled at by Neuer to get the fuck away from their own box as it would make Chelsea onside on a possible couner... The way he then, obviously with no balls at all (like Mata) went up and missed, when it really counted. What a time. He's also really ugly.
