Anyone use a Fibit? My ex uses one and I've been thinking about doing it to keep better track of my progress. Right now I just use the Samsung app on my phone but that doesn't tell that much beyond steps and heart rate.
I like my Charge 2 quite a bit. Waiting to see what Apple does with the Watch and might switch to that down the line.
Like I've been using the Samsung 2 Health app and I walked 10k plus steps as well as doing a 30 minute workout at the gym and it says i only burned 600 calories
which sounds like total bullshit

Numerous studies have shown that high levels of THC reduce testosterone production, so yep, it will.
Well shit guess I have to cut back. What do they consider high consumption. Cause I smoke like a bowl daily around 9pm watching basketball. Then on the weekends it's pretty much around the clock unless I'm out doing things
I went to my old Chinese place on the way home and feel like I already regained all my weight. Feels horrible.
Been swing great results since going to a two workout a day system. Lifting in the morning when the gym is empty and doing cardio after work.
Monday and Tuesday 2x
Weds off
Thurs and Fri 2x

Most studies tend to focus on the effect of 1-2 joints per day.
I feel so good right now.
I am at my lowest weight for nearly two years, I have been as high as +16 of what I am now :(((
I am also happy that according to my scale, not sure how accurate it is, I am not losing muscle mass. In the past I have lost weight and did not think about where it came from. Now, I am trying to make sure I get enough protein to maintain and build muscle.

Try cutting down to a few times a week?

I need to meal prep but I'm way too fucking lazy
It takes all day just to get myself in the gym, now I gotta cook all night too? Fml

Also rarely understood the desire to go in groups of 3 or 4. Just pure distraction and delayed getting your shit done.
I dont want to get amped up with a workout before going to bed. If I had a consistent schedule, I think the thing I'd do is go to the gym at like 5 am, come home shower and then go to work.

I don't really 'feel' the effects until I wake up the next day
Early on when you start intense exercise you're not used to, your body will experience a rush in adrenaline because of the new physical stimulation you're experiencing. Eventually once you get into a workout habit, that rush will dissipate and you'll actually see a drop in this effect since you're used to it.

The worst of it is when they all bring their fucking phones into the gym. Yes, horde all the benches. Do 5x10kg whatever bad form exercise you're doing, sit up and start chatting with your phones out for 5 minutes, repeat. Walk over, ask for a bench, " i'm not finished yet." Point to the notice on the wall advising people to limit their use of equipment to 10 minutes if the place is busy.
Wish i had a late night option for the gym around here. Would love to avoid these skinny fuckboy Bieber cunts with their fashy haircuts. They have 0 respect for the equipment or the other people using the facilities.
Never going to the gym at 5 pm ever again. Never saw PF so full before. Classes hogging the machine, ended up on the treadmill the whole time.
I identified (think) that my rotator cuffs are weak (no surprise) so I started doing an exercise plan with them in mind and holy shit I was not ready for that. Now I know they are weak.
A year later and my shoulder (which feels much better since then) still isn't fully healed. No hope left, rip in pieces right shoulder. Reilo if you care about my shoulder then mod me.
I feel like a dick for being down on hardcore dieters for so long.
After my wisconsin trip, my appetite has changed almost entirely and I'm eating like someone who doesn't have the metabolism of a proud saijan warrior - massive change in my calorie intake and I hydrate infinitely better. Just now got back into the gym really since then. Soooo roughly a month of diet change, gradually working my way back into the gym now
Just a week in the gym working out like this and I've got results that would've taken twice as long to see. I never regain strength this quick normally.

By reilo Go To PostWhat'd you change, diet wise?well, i eat way less for starters. I was generally between (guessing) 4500-7500 calories per day without doing anything special. WAY less now.
Only touch big carb meals 2-3 times a week. I've had pizza maybe once or twice in the past month - and I didn't eat two pies all at once like I used to either. My main 'big' meal is lunch now, and its almost always chicken or seafood with salad. Stopped eating after 8pm unless there's a special occasion or social event I gotta attend. No more sleeping on cartons of chinese food.
couple of good shake spots out here to get greens on the go that aren't jamba juice cups of sugar
could chill on the caffeine still but i pretty much flipped my entire appetite overnight without even realizing it
By reilo Go To Post4500-7500? wtf were you Michael Phelps?some ppl are born athletes meight
Phelps is like half a foot taller than you and trained 8 hours a day and ate that much lol. The hell were you eating like the People Eater from Mad Max for?
Planet Fitness is EMPTY after 1 am. In there right now and I don't eve see any employees. Feel like I'm about to get murdered like a horror movie.
I wonder of the employees are fucking in the back or something?

I really need to get into a solid fitness routine. I'm probably making excuses, but between working 8:30am-5:00pm, coming home, meal prepping, taking care of my dog I find it hard to get to the gym even for 30-45 minutes. I have however in the last month or so been trying to eat better and space out meals between 3 hour intervals and it's helped quite a bit.
Though for the gym side, I thought I'd ask here - does anyone know of any good apps (Android) that show you how to use machines and do work outs at the gym? I found Progression but it's kind of confusing to use and it has a huge paywall for all the features (~$8.00 CAD).

A good step would be taking small steps and being consistent until you can work more into your time schedule or be more efficient with it. Adjusting your diet might help with that as well if you feel lethargic while exercising rather than feeling good.
If you have someone to go be active with, even your dog, it would be a good step. Even if you feel embarrassed, you can ask the staff or people to work with you as a spotter to teach you how to do things properly.
Giving up some time to learn in person and getting a good form is better than making bad habits and hurting yourself.
If there's a bench and free weights, you can do 90% of everything you need to do. You just need a teacher or partner if you're lost.

recovering well enough after workouts to start seriously tackling lats and traps. my shoulder would never allow this before
You doing rotator cuff workouts? I feel like you're overdue. I recently started adding BCAAs (before/after) to my routine and a Caseine Protein shake before bed.
naw... its weird.
sternoclavicular dislocation (paging dr. adam) so its kinda the top of my pec, right under my neck, and 'beneath' the inside of my shoulder. can't really explain it, but it feels like there's a wedge there usually. once its sore from exercise it feels like a tear even though its not. just really uncomfortable and discouraging
been able to bench without issue, do my old boxing stuff, and even new shit. not even having to baby it really
