the gear + carrying that weight around all the time + the eating/maintenance behind it is just not good for the body overall

started a different program and man it's been so long since I felt DOMS I forgot what it's like lol. feels bad but good. looking forward to a good night sleep.
never thought I'd get tired of chasing PRs but it's time to work on physique (especially on legs) and get back athletic again. barely been to the gym at all the last 3-4 weeks. I was starting to miss some lifts or not be able to complete sets at weight I know I can do and it just got really demotivating

Yes, you should be able to do it. You should lift heavy dumbbells, my experience was that I could go harder with the DBs cause I didn't need a spot and once I could lift 145lbs DB's I could rep 385 on the barbell.

Any of you lads got a good regime for shoulder mobility? Mine's never been the best, especially since i fucked my right shoulder playing Rugby as a lad. Would love to loosen up a bit more.

You should be able to. Using 150lbs dbs per hand should have your barbell bench in the low 400lb range.
