This cut sucks, I have zero energy for everything besides shitposting. Just need to survive one more week of it, reverse diet for 3-4 weeks and finally go on a bulk for a few months... with a slight caloric surplus :(
Back from injury and at the end of my first 5/3/1 cycle back. Was really feeling it and pressed up to 125 lbs on my joker sets. Was surprised to even get back to that since I took off lifting for a month.

I cut some carbs out, not enough to go into keto mode though.
You're probably right that it's the reason why I'm low on energy until I adjust.

Dudes that use the only bench or squate cage at the gym, load it up with weights and walk away to do another workout, thus failing to indicate if they are done with the equipment? Ban them all.

Ban them all.I remember one guy criticized my deadlift saying I was doing it wrong then walked away. Next time I see him he's taking up a smith machine and using another machine across the gym. Someone goes up to the smith then he starts complaining that he was using it even though he was on the other side of the gym.
My favorite is seeing plates on a bar with no one there. So everyone walks by puzzled if they can lift there or asking me if anyone is using it if I'm lifting next to it.
looking for pre workout recommendations. price is not an issue and I'm too lazy to make my own stack. Like is there an crème de la crème pre workout out there?
Still think this is the best motivator of all time.
But I was also a shitty skinny kid that listened to a lot of punk music when I was younger

Had a few run-ins with these sorts of lads. Favourite one was the guy who just stood, staring at me whilst i did my reps. Proper hairless, chinless vest-wearing meathead.
By s y Go To Postdamn Data I closed that video 10 seconds in.fucking why i'm crying again pls remove this ;_;
This is the best motivator:
My back looks fucking awesome. Like so much better than my chest and gut.
Think its a diet thing? FUCK THESE LOVE HANDLES

Back at the gym for th first time in awhile due to injury and the guys squatting in front of me are making me feel pain. One is quarter squatting while the other is squatting completely straight legged and less than shoulder width. Both of their knees are buckling like crazy.
me watching the resolutioners hog up all the benches, all the racks and pretty much everything else i want to do in the gym
i guess this is what i missed last year by not starting back working out until march

Been an influx of pricks hogging mutliple stations at my place. It's been getting silly. No you don't need to have exclusive access to all this equipment. Work around other people like any normal person you fucking little dick meatheads.
My gym manager said I still have a gut and love handles because I'm not eating enough and my fat is all storing there because I'm not getting enough throughout the day since I have an active job and go to the gym 5 days a week
I feel like this is a trap

set a new PR on my squats yesterday solely out of competition w/ one of my friends.
i deeply regret it today

trying to work my way up to a set of 10 tuck planche pushups. most i've hit is 6 before i lost balance or got tired.
I just want to be better at running right now
I dont care what my bench is. I just want to be able to run for longer than 2 minutes

How is everyone doing on their workouts? Prob doing sprint soon for HIIT cardio, cutting right now so my squats, bench aren't going to get any better.
getting back up to speed after the accident but i've been doing a lot of brainstorming and research over the 2 week break i and i dont think i was working out hard enough before.
went back to the gym friday and did an upper day (friday and tuesday) and then a leg day sunday. leg day went fine other than general rust.
chest day was kind of rough as my left shoulder and wrist/hand are still really sore at times. if that sticks around i'll probably hit the doctor soon to see if i fucked anything up seriously.

Still way more pale than I want to be but here's my year of progress since I started going to the gym after the immediate weight loss
Finally getting back to a regular gym schedule since I started training with a buddy again.
I forgot how sore legs can be when there's someone else pushing you for more reps.

I’ve been dieting for a week now, got a gym membership and scheduled a few sessions with a Personal Trainer. I tried a year ago going to the gym but failed poorly. I ended up fainting in the middle of the night after a gym session, when I went to the washroom to pee. I fell in my room and luckily only had a cut below my lip.
I didn’t know what I was doing diet wise, barely ate anything before and after the gym and I did squats that day. It turned me off completely from the gym for a year but now I’m ready again, tracking my calories, making sure I load up on carbs before the gym and a bit after with protein. Eating better throughout the week too. Hoping I don’t encounter the same issue as last time — it was pretty terrifying, i tend to have low blood sugar too, I’ve had fainting spells before.

Both studies suggest that moving at a gentler pace—such as a brisk walk or a slow jog—for 1 to 2.5 hours every week lowers your risk of death by 25%.
walk 1 hour a week briskly aint doing shit fam
About to start working out before work in the morning before I go into work instead of after because I've got a fairly physical job and have little motivation after work to go work out.
which means going into the gym at like 3 am

I'll work myself up to being able to do an unassisted one, eventually. I used to do them as a kid all the time. :(
Once I realized how weak my hamstrings were... Everything made sense.
I do no weight at all and it's like I'm being beaten

i'll be on one handed pull ups soon. working on switch grips rn.
here's a pretty good account to get tips from if you're doing a lot of bodyweight stuff

switching over from just straight lifting w/ some yoga (mainly for socializing) to soccer specific training.
it's weird carrying around like an extra 30 lbs (130 -> 160) from the last time i seriously played.
yeah strengthening my hammys has done wonders for the knee pain i used to get in soccer and bball

By DY_nasty Go To Postfinally back in the gym working on my pathetic handsprings and shapely but hilariously weak assI saw a PT yesterday and found out I have weak hip flexors. My left side is noticeably weaker than my right, which explains my inner left psoas pain and my lower right back pain (since it's compensating for it). So she's having me do a bunch of exercises over the next month to correct that before I start working out again.
