god the difference in strength and flexibility in my left and right hip is massive, and the same for the leg. My right one is shit. Been doing some exercises for them the past month inbetween sets. Hopefully I'll start seeing some good results in a couple of months.

I re-introduced deadlifts into my routine after a month away from them due to travel/work stuff (was still squatting and doing a lower leg day once a week in that time) and wtf I am still sore four days later. No amount of BCAAs, whey and casein protein, sleeping and resting was helpful. It impeded my squats today. This suuuuucks.

My job has me closing every night for the next 3 weeks. No idea if its sticking that way or not but it's got me thinking I should rotate to going go the gym after work instead of before so around 1 am. It's on the way home so its not out of the way but its kind of in an isolated area, which is a bit worrying at night.
Skipped my workouts this week because work has been really busy and it fucked up my sleeping schedule. It's not be a bad thing to give the body a week's rest from time to time though.
So the gym has about 500 treadmills but somehow motherfuckers end up occupying the ones directly on each side of me.

So ordered adipowers last week when they were on sale and broke them in today by trying high bar squats for the first time. Good god how did I go so long without them!?. My feet were locked to the ground and I was almost effortlessly squatting. Can't wait to see how they help my OHP and maybe even bench. Also I got a gym bag and chalk and damn deadlifts are almost too easy with chalk.
Also I did a fuckton of cardio last week and part of this week for work since I was temporarily doing manual labor for work. I was like the only one of my coworkers to not be exhausted and I still stuck to my usual lifting schedule. Anyway I'm on a cut and I ended up cheating 3 days last week. I still somehow managed to lose another 2 lbs. I'm glad to see powerlifting is doing what I hoped it would give me, functional strength and conditioning.

1) the openness of gear discussion
2) the prevalency of usage
3) how much i get asked if i want to try/buy anything
4) the hard "you aren't getting tested for anything so why stay natty" sell when im tell them im not interested
can't lie it does feel bad seeing their rapid progress though

rolled my ankle on my walk to where I usually start to run. Decided to run. Did a 2k jog to the track before hitting my speed intervals.
was not a wise decision. I have fluctuated between wanting my foot cut off, and wanting to run tomorrow.
luckily my marathon plan has a day off tomorrow and a workout on Friday. Hopefully, it is ok on Saturday.

I've been working out 5 days a week for 45 minutes to an hour and physically I'm not drained but I feel like I might be overdoing it and hurting my progress. Mostly because of the fact that it leads to me working out 3 days in a row with no break. I feel like 2 days in a row should be the absolute most before taking an off day
