By data Go To PostI've hit that point where I went from losing 4-5 pounds every other week to normalizing around 1 pound every 2 weeks or so. It's fucking demotivating as shit. Like I can do more pushups now and I can run for a minute or so rather than what I could do before like..15 seconds but its killed my motivation at the gym and made me more susceptible to satisfying cravings.
I may have to finally get with my trainer to have some sessions to remotivate me cause god damn I can motivate myself to go to the gym but once I'm apathetic/bored out of my skull. I need to start goingto batting cages or something physical thats actually fun
Change up your routine, mate. Also, grab a kettlebell. That shit rinses you hard and feels great.
Very good workout today, inclined bench press went good but I think I need to improve my form because I'm not feeling comfortable in my left shoulder when going down. Fuck risking an injury.

I've worked out a minimum of two days for seven months straight. I think I've recorded three total weeks in that span when I didn't put in a full 4 days. I earned this shit.
Plus flying out on Tuesday and flying back on a Tuesday threw off my shit. YOLO.
Had myself a biscuit + fried egg + bacon + fried chicken + extra sausage gravy fries sandwich and a side of cajun spiced fries for lunch. Delicious.

I had a protein Snickers now and you know what? No regret at all, it tasted GREAT. I have defeated you reilo.

What's a good way to gain weight? For so long Crohn's kept me from gaining weight but since I've been seeing a new gastroenterologist I've been able to go from 150 to 170. However, that's just been with me stuffing my face with everything and anything. I want to try to eat healthier because I shouldn't be eating half the stuff I eat right now, but I also want to keep gaining weight (would like to be around 180-185ish)

so i've been doing this the past few days. that first stretch felt like death the first day. but my back does feel a lot better. getting out of my chair to stretch regularly has helped as well.

I took the last two weeks off due to my trip to Portland (and I needed to let my body rest). I went back at it tonight (RIP cheat week), and eventhough I went at it at about 80% I still feel dead. Next few days of recovery are gonna be brutal.
I was doing good on the diet but I'm about to head out to Utah again next week.

Shoulder press went really well yesterday. I finally crossed the weight limit I were at a year ago before I injured my shoulder. It took one whole long year to do that with the rehab but now I'm glad it's done.
I don't know how much of my process has been diet or supplements or consistency in my routine, but I'm scared to change any of it.

Went for a morning workout today.
Felt pretty good but I was struggling a bit since I hadn't eaten a lot, only a protein shake.
Got to find a new biceps routine though, mass is good but I need to work on my peak, any tips ?

So protein shakes and shit like that is the stuff I always hear about now that I've been watching some videos on youtube. I was always under the assumption you shouldn't get into that stuff unless you're really hitting heavy workouts or it'll just make you bloat up?

I was always under the assumption you shouldn't get into that stuff unless you're really hitting heavy workouts or it'll just make you bloat up?Depends, there are hundreds of various shakes, powder, supps etc.. but a good post workout shake and maybe a protein shake in the morning (whey or mass gainer) is what's enough for most.
Look at the ingredienst though, a lot of sugar or fat in some supps which can cause bloat or fuck with your cut.
I'm using XXL Nutrition Mega Grow post workout and it does contain alot of sugar. Do some extra cardio after sets to work it off.
BCAA's are also interesting if you do a lot of cardio so you don't burn fat and muscles.
Morning protein shake depends, I do one on weekdays and skip them in the weekend since I eat more then.
If I can help it, I make sure the bulk of my protein comes from post workout and before bed.
First thing in the morning I just get to the gym as fast as possible, preworkout on an empty stomach or something VERY light, post-workout menu, breakfast, work day stuff

I always try to get something in me before a morning workout but mostly I go after work.
Maybe try a shake before that morning workout, might help with burnout ?
The guy who runs my gym was telling me probably do a recovery shake after a workout and I should be good for there now. He says I'm there enough to justify more but I'm trying to cut weight right now and then build muscle upwards since I'm trying to go for a more lean build and I'm still lacking in knowledge on several exercises
Yeah recovery / post workout is how I started aswell, if you're cutting it depends a lot on diet aswell (it does for me) cutting out al them softdrinks helped a lot.
I've lost 30 pounds since November but none of it has been my love handles which is why I'm so focused on cutting weight until they're gone. The only truths I can find to getting rid of them universally is diet and that its always the last to go. I'm still too wide compared to how less thick I am. My guts gone down but not as much as I'd like but my love handles still look awful and honestly look worse due to my weight loss elsewhere. It's like two giant Cs on my side.
Well, those always take the longest I'm afraid. Doing a lot of core work helped a friend of mine lose more weight and fat there.
But it's better to lose it gently than to quickly. No stretch marks or loose skin.

I'd either throw up or end up running to the bathroom to take a dump. My body just not built for anything bigger than a single egg leading into a workout anymore.

Decided to switch it up and start working out during lunch hour. This will take some getting used to since I haven't routinely done it in years. Doing it on a mostly empty stomach minus a small pre-workout protein shake with caffeine and BCAAs.
Seated row is a mother fucker. Trainer told me to start counting all the protein I take in a day. He said scheduled eating is kind of overrated but you still need to make sure to get a certain amount of protein/carbs/etc in a day. Also told me I shouldnt worry about the love handles thing as that's less of a weight thing and more of a body fat% thing which takes a lot longer and wont be affected if I put on mass as long as I'm exercising it.
Didn't have a shake after so I just ate two hamburgers. Hungry af.
