Ravens/Saints kicking off shortly. Going to be a lot of Schaub and Buck Allen.
We're wearing these 20 year anniversary badges on our jersey's this year. Think they look pretty good.

For some reason preseason never excited me. Maybe if the Bills ever had decent QBs, training camp would be more interesting.
hold that L trey. my qb smiling right now

Tebow da gawd
seeing that read option brought a year to my eye
we don't run that anymore for robert...just some straight donkey dick dump offs and slants besides straight handoffs--utter trash

By Dark PhaZe Go To PostTebow da gawdGruden so wants Griffin gone but has no one to bump him out, and with Snyder raking him over coals last year he kinda has to relent and try to use Griffin's strengths more. That being said Griff is a shell of himself, no explosion and ability to read blitzes is really suspect. Plus rumors are he got a swelled head now.

his explosiveness isn't gone--dude can probably still run a 4.4 no problem--and he's gained a ton of muscle since his rookie year to cushion hits
he can make every throw--and his running has been bad because the coaching has minimized his running ever since 12, which is dumb
his #1 issue is pocket presence--which he's fixing, he's stepping into the pocket now whereas before he was just trailing back like Madden, not going through progressions, and letting defensive ends get an easier job because he's not stepping into the heart of his line.
#2 issue is awareness of his body. he doesn't know how to fall or soften hits or slide. so he'll probably die quicker than gerald wallace
the main thing thats funny is the shannys are better than this staff and were better for robert but his big head and mikes terrible bluster in the playoffs leading to the ACL tear created a rift--rob said he didnt want to read r/o anymore because of that, and it's been terrible for his career ever since
two years later, he's ready to run it again, but the new coach hates it and has a trash vanilla offense that's going nowhere and doesn't work for any of our QB's. So our new GM got a new offensive lineman in hopes that that'll help Rob--which it should.
I think Rob will be better this year, we have all the pieces, but we need to run pistol r/o offense that's run heavy and dynamic for Rob.

i really dont understand whats wrong with the read option and pistol formation--there's nothing technically wrong with it, and you can run a normal offense out of it while also keeping the linebackers uncomfortable and the defensive ends a little shook
there's no reason a mobile QB shouldn't be running pistol, positioning wise--it's fantastic to throw from, easy to step up in

By blackace Go To PostRGIII in Buff would be a good fit…
Please no.
You can sit here and try to find the five or six guys alive on the planet that can dissect a defense within five seconds and make accurate throws or you can just get an elite o line and get a guy who can make every throw provided he's got some time in the pocket.
I'd go with latter. The browns have wasted how many firsts on a QB? If they'd drafted o line every time then Rex Grossman tiered QBs could provide a super bowl provided the defense was great.

I sensed a great disturbance in the force. Fuckkkkk no. Sneeze on the dude and he breaks 8 bones.
By Dark PhaZe Go To Postthat formations a headache to defend when you think about it
depends on the personnel, but it really only fucks up defenses with bad/undisciplined linebackers, aka bad defenses.

he was manged poorly before that's all I don't think he is overly frail
that's why my mindset on NFL of late is:
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
might be my youth speaking, but the amount of injuries of late is bordering on the absurd--skins lost two tight ends for the season in effing training camp and pre-season, without a regular season game even being played yet

Torrey Smith's speed in Madden 16 is an 89.
His replacement in Baltimore, Rookie Breshad Perriman, hasn't practiced in three weeks, will probably not see the field until the forth preseason game at best, yet, he's the fastest player in the entire game with a 97 speed rating.
Makes sense...

Anyone else watching RG III shitting the bed and getting rocked in the process? The Lions are killing him here.
Edit: Here's a few hits via Reddit:
Sack fumble Pt. 1
Lights out Pt. 1
Lights out Pt. 2
Sack fumble Pt. 2: Time to Shut it Down
Also, Clinton Portis is kind of amazing as a sideline reporter.
The Redskins are the car crash that just keeps on giving.

jay gruden is a terrrrrrrible coach
Griffin may not be any good, but he was just middling in 2013 right after the injury with the shanahans, this stuff with Gruden has been far far worse
