He is not a fan of talking with the media. He is very open to answering questions on the press conferences pre and post game but that's it.
I don't remember him ever giving a big interview in the 4 and half years he was at Sporting, I think the most he talked with Sporting TV was for the documentary about last season's title.

You're right and it is something the club needs to fix. I would reduce media responsibilities for all players and the head coach to the contractual minimum for the remainder of the season at least.

Personally I think Amorim's issues with the media are symptomatic of a weak mindset and he should resign now before he embarrasses himself further.

this is because arne manages a small club

He has the same level of media responsibilities (internal and external) as every manager at a top club. It's not like he has to host a late night talk show.
