Foden has been an absolute shadow of himself this season so hopefully this goal gets him going. We desperately need some goals.
By FortuneFaded Go To PostI don't recall Gyokeres ever lobbing a keeper before.Never ever did he do that.
By Crusher Go To PostThat’s not a penalty? So the defender can just make himself bigger with his arms? LolHis arms are down by his side, almost touching the ground, he's hunched over and it's a little flicked ball 20 yards from goal, away from goal. Of course it isn't a handball.
Sporting keeper has been a little up and down in this game but made a couple big saves. That was a nice hit by Haaland.
Good goal. Pretty typical City for this season.. or really, most seasons. Dominating but can't finish off tons of chances, get hit on a quick counter. Can't blame Simpson-Pusey too much, most of our CBs would get beat in that situation I think.

Watching the real madrid ac milan game and the keeper came out and punched a cross but also collided with a player. Andy Townsend on commentary then says "I never understood why a keeper can come out and punch the ball but if you try that on the halfway line you get called up"
Like the look of this Gyokeres lad. Pretty good finish and runs the channels well. Very quick too. 1st chance was very weird, think having all that time to run through messed with him, should have rounded the keeper and smashed it. Going to be a big downgrade going from this lad to what we have up top at the moment.
Seems like they rely on quick transitions and him being able to outpace the defenders quite a bit. Would be nice to see how they play with more possession, had a couple of opportunities to build up but it's not going too well in the middle of the pitch where City are clearly superior/outnumber them.
