By Pac-7.5 Go To PostOne thing I will say about mobile is I'm often confused when I see the "created by," it distracts from who last posted.
It could just be me.
By sohois Go To PostIs there a date when slaent will just be new slaent? I'd gladly use the new version but it's too much effort to change my bookmarks and stuffNo date.
We are two big features away from parity: DMs and Search. It'll take some effort on my part to build new versions of that.

By DiPro Go To Postcan you share your theme?I wish I saved those off somewhere. But I have another.
I think this may be a bug:
Open thread to second to last page
Someone else posts in the thread
Click 'Load next page'
Don't see that new post, but you do see the indicator that there's a new post, and have to click that to load it up

By JesalR Go To PostI think this may be a bug:I think it's because someone edited a post and it's counting it as a new post. Just need to filter out edits.

I'm fairly sure it was a new post. In the Football thread I was on the second to last page. Saw the indicator to show Markao had posted, hit load next page and the indicator with his avatar was still there, but not his post.
Any chance it's pre-loading the next page of posts, which happened before the other user added another

Dear reilo,
While the issues with the use of space / organisation in the left sidebar are well documented, I think the overall use of vertical space could be improved too. In particular I think there might be better solutions than the thread header thing, and I also think the vertical spacing for posts can be trimmed a bit too.
All the best, Horse

By s y Go To PostIs there a way to collapse the left side panel? Not yet. It's on Reilo's list.
Working on it. Need to build a forums and favorites route to access when it's collapsed. Otherwise the UI of that piece is done.
Is there a setting or some way to not have images automatically appear in the reply box from either being posted or quoted? The previous site would have the code visible.
If I quote someone with an image in their post, I'm currently unable to edit it in anyway. It's just a huge box that I can't do anything with. I try to delete and nothing happens. The keyboard goes away once I backspace to a certain point and the quote box remains.

It is an interesting thought to allow the mobile version to have a "simplified" editor. Will think on it.
But yea I need to fix it.

Few updates:
- You can now collapse the right-hand menu /cc @s y
- This also introduces routes for a list of forums (more on that later) and to manage / visit your notifications
- The navigation now hides when scrolling down and re-appears when scrolling up
The navigation menu on mobile is now Sports, Entertainment, Life instead of Sports , Life, Entertainment
Ugh, unfortunately I cannot repro the quote bug on the Android emulator @Pac-7.5 @blackace @markao

I assume these are the steps you are taking?
I have some QA Android's lying around, I guess I'll give that a shot next...

just if you quote you can't delete the quote most of the time. Even if you post and try to edit after.
Does it insert a new-line after the quote and focus on it? And if you hit back delete from the new-line does that work?
Also, what phone / Android OS / Android version are you using? The video is from vanilla Android 15.

- when I press back button few times, "cursor" goes in to the quote and selects one letter (highlights/green), one letter backwards in the text every time the back button is pressed
For me selecting insert link, followed by cancel , makes the "edit field" work as should (can delete quote, add text everywhere, or edit other links (soc media for example).
So it is focusing in on the content inside the quote. Interesting. I think it believes it's editable and because it's not it breaks the editing capabilities.

A couple of things I noticed:
- In the previous version, you could "submit" your post by pressing command/control+enter. That's gone now :( only choice now is to click the submit button.
- In the mobile version, new dark mode, there's WAY too much contrast on the list-mode of threads in the home site. I think it's because everything is on bold and white. Perhaps using some grey in the text, or dropping the bold mode for everything, could help.
- When I click on a notification, it takes me to that page but it doesn't land me on the exact post that's quoting me.
that's it. thanks again for your amazing work reilo
