This was just revealed today. XFR-S Sportbrake
Fucking hot. 550HP/502TQ.
I typically don't like wagons, but that is just all sorts of incredible.

Seriously what the fuck at the transformation of Jaguar. Reminds me of Cadillac when the Escalade first hit years ago... Except it may even go beyond that.
The difference between Cadillac's ressurgence and Jaguar's is that Jag's design language holds up longer than 2 years. The CTS was an ugly looking car just a few short years after it launched, as was the 2nd gen CTS...and even this current 3rd gen car has a lot of styling cues that you just know will look dated. Cadillac's are overly angular cars, and until they can get away from that, their cars will keep on aging poorly. The Jaguar XF in its current form debuted back in 2007 as a concept. That's a lifetime ago.
Angular cars is the reason why so many cars from the 90s and 80s look like square boxes of shit.

Makes sense. For as good as the CTS-V is, the coupe is angular as fuck. As someone who loves Corvettes, the V in many ways is almost perfect in my eyes. Vette engine with the creature comforts of a lac... But the back of the thing is :x
Yeah seriously, looks like the Hunchback of Notre Dam. The rear end is fucking awful on the coupes.
Also, Cadillac wants like $80K for ELR, which is a hussied up Chevy Volt. Hahaha.

Probably not.
In other news, Audi is lazy and boring. The new TT is leaking in teasers, renders, etc. and it's been pretty much left alone. Seems like it'll only be a facelift outside, and a new interior.

The interior of the new Audi TT is so...boring. The MMI knob controls the mini-monitor in between the gauges on the instrument cluster. What the fuck?
That's more distracting than having a normal sized pop-up monitor, imo. The display is freakishly small...that's just cheap and stupid on Audi's part.

"With a resolution of 1,440 x 540 pixels, the 12.3” TFT screen boasts brilliantly sharp images. At work in the background is a Tegra 30 graphic processor from market leader Nvidia’s Tegra 3 series. At the lower edge of the Audi virtual cockpit, the displays for outside temperature, time and mileage are permanently visible. Warning or information symbols may also appear there."
Hrmmm...so the display in front of you can be customized like the Ferrari. Still don't know how I feel about that. I don't like it, because sometimes I like it when my passenger takes over the controls of the navi or music at my request and with that info being in front of my face, and my face only, that sort of becomes a problem and requires the driver to do everything.

F-Type?
I don't know, I still might just get a S5 because I really want a good daily driver for the near future, and it's a good $20k cheaper for than the F-Type I want. I'm in no rush, lots of good competition coming out.

You will regret buying an outdated Audi, trust me.
Vacation lasts one week cost thousands of delivers...cars last and deliver pleasure for as many years as you choose.

Probably wrong thread. But if i had a good car already, i wouldn't look at upgrading over a holiday.
It's only a life time if you end up living there. Otherwise, it's just memories. Hehehe :p
Me personally, I hope to spend next year traveling Europe once I'm done with the sale of my company.

Are you and Evilore gonna be best bros.
Well no, considering I'll be in the presence of a woman who actually interacts with me and agreed to marry me.
That woman of course being Reilo.

This thread should probably be renamed to the Jaguar OT. Because really, who gives a shit about anything else?
Why get a jag when you could get an aston?Aston's are twice the price tag at least and their new platform is in need of a refresh.
Test drove my final two choices for a new car
Alfa Romeo Giulietta Distinctive
Renault Megane GT-Line diesel
Can't decide which one I will get but the Alfa was fucking awesome to drive. It's probably about 3-5k more though, but it's probably worth it.

Not to mention being slower.
F-Type R >>>>>>>>> V8 Vantage.
Hell, the F-Type R is even quicker than the V12 Vantage.

ALWAYS
Really? I'd be waiting on the new Civic and Focus.
Not sure i could ever get an Alfa knowing their build quality history. Would feel like such a bad decision every time i had to get something fixed:(

Already have a 10 year old Focus. Not interest in Japanese cars, want a nice Yuro one. It's either Alfa or Renault.
It's a novated lease so I can get rid of it after 3-4 years anyway.

Really? I'd be waiting on the new Civic and Focus. The Civic has been a bad buy for nearly a decade now and while the new Focus is a nice car, there's better cars in its segment for better money.
