I assume that with Salah it's your standard case of us offering two years, and him wanting three or four.
Don't really believe for a moment that he and the club haven't discussed an extension. Voluntarily losing him on a free will look very fucking stupid when he's still banging them in at 34, and we can eat the loss if he stays and rapidly declines.
It's a risk as always with players in their thirties, but one worth taking I think. Especially since I don't think he'd hang around stinking the place out with sub appearances in the Carabao if it came to that, I expect he'd look to move.

Klopp joining was more about Klopp than anything. Remember that his star had fallen slightly, and he's always talked about preferring being on the underdog side. At the time we definitely looked like the right place for someone with his profile.
We'd shown some promising signs in our build up play and defensive structure in our matches against Fulham and Brighton.
Now looks like we didn't really make many tactical shifts but rather we made some slight improvements in the technique of our players. Can't be countered as often if you're more secure on the ball. Yesterday we couldn't keep the ball and we looked every bit as bad as last season. Just running through the heart of our midfield at will.
You can't legislate for Casemiro putting in one of the worst performances you'll ever see. But if your vision for the team require a player as shaky in possession as him to not lose it, you're just asking for a beating.
Can't have much sympathy for Ten Hag right after another transfer window where he could have fixed that issue.

He didn't even want Ugarte. He preferred to keep McTom but was essentially overruled.
A sacking offence in and of itself.
By Dazenheimer Go To PostWhat are the international matches even worth giving a side eye glance?San Marino x Lichtenstein
France X Italy, Ireland X England, Belgium X France and Netherlands X Germany
By Hitch Go To PostUnless Martinelli pulls his finger out, Trossard will be in your first XI won't he?
Sterling imo
Id take the money
By WoodenLung Go To Poststart watching some other league, where 115 charges dont win. This is good advice
i suggest serie a, they are all corrupt there.
By Kidjr Go To PostSterling imoMoney isn't going to do us much good when we get an injury and don't have anyone to play up there.

Trossard is a really good squad player who can play in all three of those positions upfront and he comes up with some important goals. It wouldn't make any sense to sell him and I'm glad we rejected it.
If the Saudis wanted someone from us they should have taken Partey in the summer when they had the chance.
Even the Dutch press is laying into him and saying it's over.
I assume INEOS will wait until at least the next international break to sack him assuming results and performances go as expected.

His face as the reporter calmly reels off a list of consistent shortcomings under him when asked 💀
Fucking Hell lmao
By Freewheelin Go To PostReally hope they don’t sell himIt's now being reported that Al-Ittihad has closed a deal with Porto for Galeno for 50M€ so they likely are dropping their interest on Troussard.
ETH's english level is awful for a Manchester United manager going into his 3rd season. I struggle to understand him. Maybe the players do too.
Genuinely saved by a toenail in the FA semi and the lads pulling it out their arse in the final. We should have finished bottom five last year. Individual quality of the likes of Bruno or Garnacho papering over cracks.

Not great, not terrible.
I don’t think Ten Hag’s English is all that bad. Seen plenty of managers at that level that have worse English and were fine.

Someone will correct me if I’m working, but I’m pretty sure he earned Ten Hag, 12 points.
Put some respect on his name, m8.
By WoodenLung Go To Postdamndamn that is a terrible move for him
By Dazenheimer Go To PostPace yourselves, lads. We've got 2 whole weeks.
Only 2 weeks? That's not even enough time.
