I took a little break and I'll give it one more go here but more personal attacks and that will be that.
With my new humble outlook on all things football I am quite satisfied with a point at St James Park today.
I think that it's only down to our own incredibly high standards over the past few years that is becomes quite easy to forget we will not go to many tougher places this season - Villa, Liverpool and maybe Spurs as are they are a big bogey team for us irrespective of last season.
City fans have become too comfortable with just slapping every team that actually a point against Newcastle & Arsenal kinda feels like a loss.
I'm quite happy to be top of the league still with tough games behind us, off the back of the internationals in the summer which has clearly had an impact on a lot of players. Everyone should know by now that City don't really start playing until Christmas, I think it would be a very worrying sign for the other title contenders to see City open up any kind of gap before Christmas as we all know what happens January-May.
We will absolutely need to go sign a midfielder in January however and I think we will.

I'm not sure to be honest.
The club will have its targets for sure but I don't expect them to spend an absolute fortune on a player. Those days are behind us.
If we struggle to cover what Rodri does I think City need to be asking the opposition more questions of their own defence. Savinho, Doku or Grealish - two of the three need to be starting every premier league game imo. Pls Pep, no Foden or Bernardo out wide.
