Forgot there was a game on, Nwaneriβs balling.
Lol that's farcical.
No danger at all then we let a Twente player run the length of the pitch to score.

Smh man. Yamal isn't just ridiculously good for his age. He's just ridiculously good. Feel safe to say that now.
Frustrating game. There's definite improvements made in structure, how we keep the ball under pressure and defend out of possession is better. But we're liable to a stupid error which we then compound in the same play. There were at least three mistakes for Twente's goal.
Zirkzee needs to stay on the pitch if we're looking to create centrally because we can't do it with Bruno right now.

For a team that has so much difficulties creating chances, you cannot have Bruno giving the ball away and a have couple of defensive errors.
Only last 10/15 mins had some urgency
Tukkeerrrsss

Bruno is one of the worst players in keeping a consistent/flowing attack when he's playing like this. Just awkward nonsense balls to nowhere.

but its another game where he should have had a goal but doesn't have the killer mentality.
Too goal-shy and Rasmus is still rusty.
As more and more of the players are now adept at keeping possession, Bruno is starting to stick out like a sore thumb.
Maguire and Eriksen did a lot right tonight and also were directly to blame for the goal conceded.
For the latter especially I think that's down to fatigue. The next five minutes after making that mistake he made another two or three.

We've beaten Fulham (H), Southampton (A) and Barnsley (H) so far this season. That should get you live vivisection (and fired).
Still, some real improvements over last season!

By Cleff Go To Postand also were directly to blame for the goal conceded.it's just so fucking ridiculous... game after game, year after year the amount of fucking brainfarts and plain old lack of awareness leading to gifted goals is infuriating.
By inky Go To PostI'm tired, nathan
give it to moyseh imho
Ten Hag doesn't help himself either. Bruno doesn't work on the wing, but we took Rashford off and moved Fernandes from 10 to the right hand side.
I know we want to keep him on for his creativity, but that only really works if he's playing centrally with the license to drift wide. If he's just stuck in the wing all he can do is cross.
Would be interested in seeing Zirkzee and Hojlund playing together.

Anyway, anything less than 2 wins and a draw here before the international break should be the immediate end.
By Batong Go To PostReading Cleff's post and then Laboured's after kills me ππThere's been enough change in how we're playing from last season to make me believe we won't make those same mistakes. We aren't as open in defence and we're creating some good shooting opportunities through build up. Still struggle to get those shots off, but it's a better way of playing than being constantly in transition in attack and defence.
So I don't mind waiting to see how this season shakes out tbh.
