City have a lot of midfielders, but genuinely don't really have another pure DM in the squad. I am guessing we'll see Stones play there a little more.. maybe Rico Lewis (way too small IMO). Akanji has looked very meh in the role when Pep had him play DM before, so I hope he doesn't try it much.
I'm guessing we'll just see a sort of rotating cast.. maybe more Nunes (doubtful lol). Gundo probably will drop a bit deeper usually and we'll see Bernardo and/or KDB playing as a CM a lot. Oscar Bobb will be back in January and Claudio Echeverri will arrive from River Plate.. two more attacking mids/wingers which will free up Bernardo and KDB to play a little further back more so I am unsure if we'll sign a replacement in January or not. Guess we'll see..
